Sabena and Aerolineas Argentinas...nice new releases there, if they look good when the pics of the models are released, I'll go for them.

I know some member on here that would like that Caravelle JAT Yugoslav Airways...

I'm interested in the Aerolineas Argentinas but wished it was the regular 747-200B version and not this 747SP...

What the heck ever happened to the American A332 that was announced months ago? I've been waiting patiently.

I'm all in for the AC 787. Probably won't see these in Canada until June though. Will give me some time to save up for the overpriced stuff Inflight produces,

Release the exact same LOT 787 SP-LRD already made by JC Wings. That's going to a be a big success (sarcasm!). Sometimes I wish I was a fly on the wall when these new releases are being considered.

I love the Caravelle, for many personal reasons, I have a few of them in my cabinet but I am not impressed by the Inflight made Caravelle.

Lack of research, and it seems that this model was made with a limited budget, it was important to do it as quickly as possible.
Had Inflight been more receptive to advice and suggestions, it is probable that it would have been different and more accurate.
In fact, what we have with the ALITALIA Caravelle is a "good enough" model.

Sharing some pictures of a pre-production model and accepting to make a few tweaks would have led to something more accurate and successful.
Producing a bright and colorful model that everyone is waiting for is not enough.

It is a pity that Rui is no longer with us.
His monthly visits at ARD and his pictures were very precious for decision making, and I am sure that the impact on ARD sales volumes was positive.

Jean Pierre.

absolutely, i also miss his reports from ARD.

ARD2019 | ARD200 1:200 | SE 210 Caravelle Alitalia I-DAXO - Aviation Retail Direct

being no expert on this aircraft, to me the the engines on the Inflight mould look a little strange. not to speak of the undercarriage. IF has to avoid these "bling.bling" wheels in general, but especially on classic models. and the size of the frontgear is a joke. (the Herpa/HG mould was perfect imho.) i hope Inflight fixes that before the JAT CAaravelle is in the shops. no hope for the engines, as major retoolings at Inflight, if done at all, seem to take decades.

http://www.wafflecollectibles.com/12...le_i-daxo.html

surprisingly the frontgear is bigger than the mlg, which is strange because it should be vice cersa. plus the fuselage should be on a horizontal level. on the Waffle pics it seems like it is fueled but without any load or pax.

I agree with you, nose wheels are oversized, engines are not correct, I am tempted to say that the tail cone is too low and also the wing profile is really disturbing.

Just look at the upper side of the wing, it is as flat as a board, consequently, the leading edge is very thick.
To generate the lift necessary for the flight, the wing profile (airfoil) must be calculated very carefully and the upper side of the wing must be convex.

Because of the shape of the wing and thanks to the speed, the airfoil generates a lift, if the lift is equal to the weight, the aircraft flies.
Of course, the wing and the whole aircraft have a drag, if the thrust of the engines equals the drag, the aircraft flies at constant speed.
It is as simple as that …

Also the white border of the passenger windows is pure invention and the top of the "A" on the vertical fin should be parallel to the fuselage …

We simply missed the opportunity to have a good Caravelle, Hogan and Herpa products are still the best for a long time.

Jean Pierre.

I'm starting to think they're just going to skip over the Azerbaijan 788. There can't be many other 788s that haven't been made by any manufacturer yet. Most new birds coming from the factory from last year forward are the -9, so I'm hoping IF end up doing the rest of the -8s on this mould.

Is there really a stronger demand for a second LOT 787 with the same reg as JC, a Mexican Presidential bird, and the Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight bird? AZAL seems like it would be a good seller just based on being a beautiful livery, despite being an airline most don't care about. Should be a natural fit for Inflight, which gave us Kenya, Hainan, Xiamen, Air Austral...

anyway, when i want a JAT Caravelle i assume i have to take this one. like with the DC-9.... it is pretty uncertain that another manufacturer will do it aswell - maybe AC200 one day, when the mould is available - time will tell....

I miss his pictures too. They were a great help in making many decisions about whether to buy a model. He is sorely missed.

I think his departure was partially a result of Trevor's death, but mainly because of bullying here on the forum. Such a pity.

After the major disappointment with the Mexicana DC10, I wouldn't order the 727 PFP until watching a sample picture.

The airplane they announced is not black, it had a very dark blue color and it was a previous livery from 2008-2010. By knowing Inflight and seeing their last models, they won't give a s*** to get the model 100% accurate in color.

Here some pictures of the real PFP B727 XA-FPA from 2008 to 2010, HOPE some at Inflight's HQ is reading this.

His photos rocked and I always made it my priority to visit his threads when he posted pics from his visits to ARD. He totally blew me away when he posted that epic photo of the IF200 AA DC-10-30 in the cockpit in my AA DC-10-30 thread! That was just way too cool! Wishing he would revisit the DAC again in the future? Cheers! T7

What's the best source for pre-order or ordering Inflight200 models in Canada? I don't have any Inflight200 in my collection but if their AC 788 new livery is the first one out I'd like to grab it.
