Looks like whole set models of Portugal SATA/Air Azores is to be released, including Do-228, BAe ATP, DHC-8, BAe HS-748, A321, A330, DC-3, DC-6.. BAe ATP of SATA is a must for meas I travelled few times between islands on it..

The Azores are lovely. One of my best vacations.
I'd love to get the A330 whale, but it's only plastic. Maybe the Dash-400....

Yes, Azores are magical, fortunately NOT mass touristic destination. Yet.. Back to models, I asked about some details, eg who will release Do-228 and ATP. Interesting answer:
"The DC-6 will be released first. The ATP and Dornier may be Herpa but it has not yet been confirmed. Best regards"
So it looks like Herpa is preparing two turboprop moulds. Dash 7 by Herpa is excellent, so looking for similar ATP quality! If released - pleanty of great opportunities in case of ATP (only limited Skyline/Sky Classics were available) and Do-228 is also welcomed. We will see..

The DC-6 is said to be planned for Jun/Jul. The DC-3 & Dash 8 next year. These being existing types already made by Herpa. Although the 748 is listed as Herpa, I did think maybe Gemini/JC were a possible source? The higher price asked for the ATP and Do228 got me thinking they may be customs using Sky Classics/Alliance200. They also say the ATP will depend on pre-orders.

Having checked web-site, only the DC-6 is still there. All the other models mentioned have disappeared.

MSR777 - nice pictures of Azores A330. What is the quality of model? Is it LUPA mould? DC-6 is a nice release, A321 is also expected I assume from price it is not snap fit. Pitty that ATP, Do228, HS748 are no longer available.

Hi dash7. No, it's not Lupa standard, I bought it solely for the graphics and the fact I'd always wanted to add a SATA model to my collection. I can't find any reference on its colourful box as to who made it though. The stand is a nice finishing touch. I like it a lot, and I don't suppose they'll be that common.

Maybe someone is interested - Airstore.pt has added Airbus A320 CS-TKK and -TKP in SATA colors as well as CS-TKQ in Azores Airlines livery, by Inflight200. Quite rare birds and I assume as their DHC-8Q400 and Q200 (made by Gemini) and other in same scale (maybe except A330) will not be available at other shops (well, one retailer in Germany which sometimes sales few SATA models imported from Airstore). Anyway - they have some promotion ending soon, so I was able to grab two Airbuses with discount. Here pictures of new birds available.

CTN-OU, mine is -TRF. As well as -TRC Q200, agile performer that is comfortable within 800 m runways. Krasair - A310 of SATA will be good idea, hope I will make mine ahead of them ;)

Yes, it Inflight mould, looks like new one, so nose shape is really good. I assume green color scheme is new one, at least whale fin on empannage is similar on A320/A321neo/A330.

There's a SATA A310 parked at Mojave recently arrived... probably going to be scrapped. :neutral:

That was SATAs last A310 and the last european passenger A310 in service I guess.
Two years ago I booked a flight, that was scheduled on this A310 to the get the last chance to fly this type. They switched the flight to their a330 last-minute. Bummer.
