Got the new A321 today. My friend has been downsizing his collection lately and I took his AA A330 from him earlier this month as well. I also got an IKEA Billy bookcase for DVD's but ended up with some room for models too. I looked at the IKEA Detolf that a lot of people seem to like but I decided against it. I may get another one just for models.

Nice collection of AA models! Are you going to add the JCW A300 too? I've got that one on pre-order now.
I'm actually not sure. I had a birthday recently and my brother usually gets me a model but I haven't gotten anything yet. I think he pre-ordered it.

I was actually pleasantly surprised to see them do a legacy US Airways bird. I've been on those so no matter how pretty it is for a while, I'll still keep it. I bought my friend's A330 because he gave me a good deal. I'm actually still disappointed by that, though. Last year, I was going to jump seat on an AA A330 but the damn thing kept getting delayed. I was on official time so I was told to find an alternative flight. Looking back, it was probably a good thing because I probably wouldn't have made it home on AA. I kept getting bumped from everything else. I managed to get a non-stop on Southwest. If it weren't for them, I likely would have had to wait 7 hours until FedEx.
Nice collection and the AA A321 looks good. I flew on N162UW CLT-PIT back in 2015 a few weeks before US/AA started flying under one operating certificate. It was one of my last US flights and my last with US as an independent carrier.
I have quite a few Disney collectibles, too. Quite a few of the Olszewski Disneyland miniatures, a large scale model of the Mark I Disneyland monorail, and numerous pins.

I've been thinking about getting the Olszewski Cinderella Castle. I just don't really know where I'd put it. For Christmas, my wife got me the Partners Statue which I really like.
My wife is more of an every 2-3 years type of visit where I'd rather go every year. We just agreed last night to go back for our kid's 5th birthday this year which will put us 15 months between visits. I'll definitely be checking out the Art of Disney at EPCOT on the next visit. Maybe I'll get the castle then.

I had several of the larger Olszewski pieces, such as the Haunted Mansion, Astro Orbiter, and Mad Tea Party but I sold them because I downsized my display case. I still have Main Street (train) Station, but it's sitting in a box in a closet. I've put off auctioning it on eBay because it doesn't have the original box and packaging, and I'm concerned about shipping it. All that are on display now are the Disneyland marquee, House of the Future, and Rocket to the Moon.
I was at Disneyland for my birthday in August and that'll probably be the last time I go for a while. However, I'm visiting Paris during the second week of May, so I may make a day trip to Disneyland Paris while I'm there. I understand it's an hour or so train ride from Paris city center. There are a few attractions there that are not at Disneyland and/or Disney World that I would like to see.

Awesome photos and thank you for sharing your AA A321 on the DAC; much appreciated that you took the photos in a natural light setting. Very sweet and impressive AA and US Airways fleet you have going and like your display cases! Congrats on your latest 1/200 bird.
I am picking up my AA A321 on Thursday from AV World YYZ. I flew on the AA A321 (brand new bird that AA just rolled out; had the brand new cabin aroma!) from JFK to LAX to attend this Airliners International Show in Los Angeles back in 2014:
I never thought of displaying my WDW monorail like that before...what a great idea!!
Thanks. I used to have them displayed coming out of The Contemporary but it just takes up too much room. I still have Monorail Green but it's just in a closet.

My wife wants to go to Japan. I'm hoping that when we go, which will be a while since neither of us would want to take our kids with their current ages on such a long flight, I'll get her to go to Tokyo Disney. I've only been to Disneyland once. I appreciate it's historical aspect since it was Walt's park but having always lived on the east coast, we've always headed to Disney World.

I lived in Daytona during my teens and Orlando in my early 20s, so I've been to Disney World and EPCOT many times! I have fond memories of visiting the preview center in Lake Buena Vista with my parents, and worked not too far from there when I was a res. agent for Piedmont Airlines. I miss those days.
It has been a dream of mine to stay at the Contemporary Resort but dang, is it expensive!

Yeah, The Contemporary is no joke. I personally would really like to stay at The Boardwalk but we're not going to drop that kind of money with little kids. All they want to do is sleep and go back to the park.
