The database shows this one has already been made by inflight, which I vaguely remember. But we would still need the 747, and 727.

I was looking into Midwest Express, and I forgot about their livery and name change when they took delivery of the 717s. Kind of funny, I always thought the new logo on the tail looked like a guitar pick, lol. So a possible model list for Midwest would look like this:

Midwest Express DC-9-15
Midwest Express DC-9-30
Midwest Express MD-81/82/88
Midwest Connect Do-328 JET "skyway"
Midwest 717
Midwest MD-81/82/88
Midwest ERJ-170
Midwest ERJ-190
Midwest Connect Do-328 JET

The DC-9s never wore the updated non-express livery correct?

Thumbs up Re: 1978-2008 USA models needed

Adding to the list for Frontier Airlines (FL) would be the original Bow & Arrow delivery livery on a 732 (N7372F) or 727-191 (N7270F thru N7274F) or even a DC-3 airframe please

I know it's been said already, it really shouldn't even need to be said, but I'm going to say it again anyway - Frontier Saul Bass 737-200 and MD-80...

...and for good measure, a Frontier Horizon 727-100........please.

Do you happen to own the elusive Inflight Limited Edition meatball Continental DC-10?

A couple popped up on eBay from the same seller about 2 years ago for a reasonable price and I'm still kicking myself for not snagging one.

Well Herpa is going to release a Dhc-7 which fits the timeframe and hasn't been done yet.
Also a Eastern DC-6 but that's earlier than '78.

Oh my Lord, have I been missing the thread of my dreams. The deregulation era is my main focus as well. Though I cut it back further and don't collect winglet jets like the 744s. I was reading your original list thinking you missed one very important livery, but your later addendum fixed that overlook. So here are my must haves for now. I might add to it later.

ANYTHING Midway Airlines. That means the original blue colors, as well as the red colors and don't forget the Metrolink white as well.

Northwest Orient 747-200 (Polished)
Northwest Orient DC-10-40 (Polished)

I don't know why these manufacturers stick with the same material over and over while like someone said, the most important and colorful era keeps being neglected. Great thread.

How about a TWA TriStar twin stripe? Or has that been done already? And United 727-200 battleship?

Yes, the TWA has been done by Inflight200 in both solid titles and outline titles, the former being hard to find and needs to be re-released with a polished lower fuselage.

The United has been done by Herpa Premium and Inflight200.

I'd like to see a TWA B722 in the experimental "Project Skinny" bare metal fuselage/livery (N64339).

I do not understand why the CRJ-200 hasn't been made in 1/200. There are so many different choices they could choose from if they made a CRJ-200. The GJ CRJ-700 and 900 molds are great. Now we just need the 200 to complement them.

Wow that is quite the list. I would love to see some of those America West, Southwest, Delta (wavy tails, olympic special schemes, Song), Northwest, and United (blue tulip or united) aircraft. I like to collect planes that i remember seeing when I was a child. Collecting them adds something more to the hobby for me and brings back some of the best memories.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last new release in this category was January right with the Ozark DC-9-10? Was the battleship gray EMB-120 after that, or was that December? I think we may have had a Herpa announcement about a Pan Am ATR in Feb. But either way, we're in a pretty long dry spell, in this particular category, 4-5 months with zilch.

As I usually do during these periods of nothing new that interests me, I
Catch up on older releases, IF you can find them. Took delivery of the Gemini Ozark DC-9-10, and the ultra limited JFox United Airlines Saul Bass large title DC-10-10. Both are amazing, especially the United 10. In the meantime, I found Phoenix's Piedmont 737-400, Gemini Reno MD-87, Eastern CV-440 white hockey stick, and Frontier Saul Bass red CV-580. Lastly, at the Chicago show I picked up the Gemini United battleship EMB-120. Also, at the show I picked up this great Midway Airlines print from Jet Age Art! Would sure love if we could ever get some Midway models in 200 scale!

Tried a search for any discussions/mentions of an American Connection ERJ-145 but found none. I recently acquired a GJ200 American Eagle ERJ-145 in old colors after many years of waiting and bidding. Really happy with it, but I'd really like an American Connection ERJ-145. Based on how quickly the American Eagle version sold out and became so hard to find, I'd like to think an American Connection version would be a hit too. No one else on this forum was a regular traveler through St. Louis and boarded those ERJ-140s and ERJ-145s?

The list on this thread is quite extensive. But was surprised the one model I would like was not on the list....

Excellent addition to this list. All American Connections be added. Jetstreams.....

Gemini needs to re-release the Frontier CV580 bow & arrow. last month, i was going to even bid on the only one i could find... on ebay, and listed as damaged due to shelf collapse, it had a busted off rear stabilizer and antenna but the bidding just went too high even for a damaged model!

Who has the 1/200 BAE-146-100 and 200's moulds now? JC? Might be our only hope for an AirCal and a USAir triple red. Hope they are still around.

Midwest Express DC-9-15
Midwest Express DC-9-30
Midwest Express MD-81/82/88
Midwest Connect Do-328 JET "skyway"
Midwest 717
Midwest MD-81/82/88
Midwest ERJ-170
Midwest ERJ-190
Midwest Connect Do-328 JET

The DC-9s never wore the updated non-express livery correct?
I'd love any and all Midwest Express models.

Herpa made the Do-Jet back in the day, and its actually pretty nice if you can find one.

We can add the ERJ-135 (Chautauqua Airlines) and CRJ-100/200 (Skywest Airlines) to the Midwest Connect wishes.

You are correct, None of the DC-9's wore the Non Express Livery.

I'll take a Midwest Express ERJ-170!

And great call on SkyWest livery CRJ-100/200s! There's at least a couple of liveries I've flown on. A project for NG for sure!

The problem with that is, there is to date no Boeing 767-400 mould in Die-cast yet but only the plastic ones from both Herpa and Hogan..

Yep I know. It's a pipe dream. Probably will never happen with the limited amount of various liveries and airlines.
