Thanks for the nice pictures, I received my sample of this model some two weeks ago, from Jetwaymodels,
and I find it absolutely adorable, love the magnetic gears and in flight configuration as well

Thanks for the awesome pics!

This A 350 is really beautiful, but now, because of space available, i have to concentrate on models of my airline.

Waiting for the delivery of the first aircraft to AF to buy a model of it.

Jean Pierre.

Just got JC Wings new SIA A350 10.000th Airbus, JC did a better more accurate job compared to Gemini. There is a bunch of mistakes on Geminis LH A350, to me the most strange is the double red lights on top of the fuselage, that´s pure nonsense, and strange cause the other JC Wings or Gemini A350s as Qatar, Cathay .... have the correct one red light on top. Can´t understand such strange mistakes. :-)

When the artwork was submitted to Gemini from LH it was for 2 roof top beacons. This is an option the airlines have when ordering the A350. The model was not approved by LH without the 2 roof lights..Its possible that future A350's may have this option.

This aircraft was officially christened yesterday at Lufthansa and received it's name: Nürnberg.
To bad that Gemini and Herpa didn't wait till this event and put the model out after it has received it's name.

As far as I can see the double beacons been only used on MSN001-MSN004, MSN005 has only one top beacon, and will be sold to French Blue, so I guess that the double beacons been a test plane feature only. All other A350s beside the MSN001-004 have the single beacon, as far as I know.

Once again LH models are not just made on a whim. They are planned almost a year out and all artwork is directed by the airline. These models aren't made then sit for weeks or months until a name is created to be added..

For those that know nothing about licensing I'll repeat...
LH HAS STRUCT GUIDELINES AND TELLS THE MODEL MANUFACTURER WHAT THEY WANT AND THE FINAL PRODUCT MUST BE APPROVED BY THEM.

Still the model is wrong here. And I did not say anything about the white color yet!

Just saying that it is a pitty that the name is not on the model. Just my opinion...

It seems that now the A350s have two rotating beacons on the top of the fuselage ... but not side by side.

This is absolutely true.
The problem is that the people who give the instructions to the manufacturers or who validate the models are not the most competent and sometimes have a very limited knowledge of the aircraft.

Restricting my comments to the AF models and the AF Museum, this is obvious.

See my recent post about the AF B 747-100 F-BPVL.
Remember the cockpit windows of the Hogan Caravelle, the unfortunate Hogan Super Constellation, the all white Herpa Catalina, just to name a few …

Again, quite recently I offered my help to validate their models.
No answer …
As long as the model is good enough and looks like the real thing, the green light is given.

The only solution is to discuss directly with the manufacturers, but they don't know you, they don't trust you and they can't discuss with several people at the same time, that's what I was told one day.

Jean Pierre.

4: UPPER ANTI-COLLISION LIGHT/BEACON (RED)

5: LOWER ANTI-COLLISION LIGHT/BEACON (RED)

Number 5 is the beacon on bottom of fuselage.
