Default can we expect more classic 727s and 737s to come by JC Wings?

the lineup for the 727 would be pretty easy -just copy the lineup of IF200... and they sell like hot cupcakes. maybe you could change the registrations for the collectors who do not want to sell their Inflight copy - though i wouldn't understand anybody keeping the Inflight version when you have a JC derivative of the same airline.

and for the 737 there are lots n lots of classic liveries and hybrids, beginning in the 1970s (B737-200) until the mid 1990s (B737-200/-300/-400/-500)

you got the moulds - why don't you use them, JC?

I would LOVE a US Air 90's scheme 737-200 but a 300 or 400 in that scheme would be nice too.
Or a 727 in Delta Widget

I would like to see more A300 from JC instead of 727 and 737.
I believe there is still a demand for classic 727 and 737, but not as many as people think because IF has already produced a lot of classics 727 and 737 over the past 10 years.

lol how subtle to say that there are too many 737 & 727 on a thread asking for more 737 & 727 ?

I would like Air Madagascar 737 preferably not on IF mould.

i think you're wrong, you cannot assume that when a manufacturer produces a mould it also sells - HM also did an A310.... and when you read the criticism you wouldn't assume that ANYBODY would have bought it.

PS: manufacturers already tend to copy themselves - to be precisely in a few cases (like the 727 or 737 moulds) it would not just be copying, it would be an improvement towards the existing mould!

and like i said above: when the "knowing" collector puts an IF200 and a JCW 727, wearing the same livery, next to each other i cannot imagine he will keep the Inflight Version.

But speaking of the Gemini 200 727-200 mould, i would love to see two models be released; the American 727-200 & TWA twin stripe 727-200...

I also want to see many more liveries on both the JC Wings A300 mould & the Gemini 200 727-200/100 mould period.

But speaking of the IF 200 727-200 mould, there's your problem right there, it's because of so many past liveries produced by Inflight, that Gemini is maybe very reluctant to copy or re-produce the exact same liveries that IF 200 has already covered in the past 10 years... i for one wish that it was the other way around, that Gemini 200 would have produced many classic liveries on their excellent 727-200 mould instead of IF 200 with their crappy 727-200 mould but it is what it is i guess...

As far as the 737 goes, I think there is a huge potential on -300s/-400s/-500s. We've only had a handful of those come out and I'd bet there are at least 50 they could do. Just in what I'd buy alone; United Saul Bass-300&-500, united battleship -300/-500, United blue tulip -500; USAir rust, red stripe, and black -300; Southwest brown -300, -500, shamu, southwest blue -300, -500; delta widget -300; continental -300/-500 globe, meatball; America West -300 white+blue stripes. Thats 20 right there!

And in 737-200, Air Florida, PSA orange, USAir red stripe black tail, Metrojet, and for God's sake can I please get a Midway model PLEASE!!

727s I want the most are re-dos. I agree with what others have said- most of the IF200 line could be remade by someone else. TWA twinstripe tops that list, followed by UA battleship, western, USAir rust, and continental globe.

As far as new ideas for 727s: we need Norhwest Orient and bowling shoe -100s; certainly a Republic 727-200 in the duck livery especially. We also need ATA -200s in gold and holiday liveries; a Piedmont -100; Air Pacific-100, PSA -100, and a Kiwi -200.

So there's 40 models! I'll be expecting some action on this list in 2017!

Now that they are retired, I'm hoping someone will make an LH 737 in the current colors.

That is solid and indisputable evidence there would/should/could be a market for these airframes. I'd defiantly buy about a third of this list and would most likely buy a second third of it. I will also interject that the manufacturers should also consider 757's and 737ng's without winglets as they appeared in the mid to late 90's.

Hmmm... Thanks for the tip! I don't know if I want to pay collector prices right now. Is $225 a good price? I want to offer like $160 but I don't want to be rude.
I kind of want to just wait for another issue of that model but I don't know when that will happen.

you can wait for another one to pop up on eBay for less than $225 but it's up to you what you wanna do... the bottom line is, this model is both hard to find & beautiful at the same time... i can remember a time not that long ago when you could find this Delta Widget 727 for less than $100 shipped, that's how much i paid for my copy but i guess times have changed & older Gemini 200 Delta Widget Diecast models (take the Delta Widget 757 for example) sell for lots $$$$ money these days...

Maybe I should buy that and get a custom one done on the frame of a Comair South Africa "Cityjet". Hmm, that would be good to see.

Agree. And please add Western 737-300 (Bud Lite) and Frontier 737-200 (Bow and Arrow and Saul Bass) to the list. I'd buy all of them and know others who would, too.
