In my opinion the Canadian 747-400 would be a better choice for JC Wings to release someday...

Thanks for the pix Johan_Chan. I've been waiting for good pix of this model.
Mold looks like it hasn't had upgrades such as the ones featured on latest ANZ and Orange Pride 77W (such as wings lights, updated more accurate pylons around the hot zone and beefier engine exhaust).
That is too bad as I hope that is the case when airline liveries are released for the LR.

I regret to say that a flaps down version is unlikely happening in the near future.

I believed that JC will try their best in modifying and upgrading the mold whenever they can Let's wait and see!

I think it looks great. Of course there are a few minor flaws with the mold, as some have mentioned, but I don't think it's a big deal. I hope to see Delta and FedEx sometime soon.

Last week,I purchased the version without the nose art. Very nice model. The sleeve mentions the B777-F. Is that planned?

Good news on the Wardair 747- I've been waiting for years. I would prefer the earlier delivery scheme so the final photo's scene below can be recreated. Or better yet, both schemes.

Dan

Later Scheme Wardair 747-200

Delivery Scheme Wardair 747-100

Thank you Mr. Chan for answering my questions! I'm really looking forward to seeing these two liveries made into reality or any other new release by the JC Wings team...

I have one on order as well, but from what I remember, the order was for either the House colors one as seen here, or an Air China tail with the Boeing colors.

Was there a choice between House models w/ and w/out nose art?

Excited for mine, just got my House 777-300ER too.

Yes, there are two versions just like the first photo shows, one with the nose art and one without.

Great livery, but I'm waiting for JCW to lower the nose and improve the cockpit window printing before I buy any more 777s. (hint, hint). A little attention to flattening the front of the engine cowl couldn't hurt either. I would hope JCW would be a little mode careful in the future when selecting their CAD designers. They have gotten the 777 and A330 models wrong several times now.

Too bad, because otherwise, this looks like a great model and would be entering my collection with just a few changes.

I started to be attracted by the beautiful Boeing livery many years ago. For the 777-200LR, I have been searching the GJ 1:400 version in the retail shops.

http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...iew-11838.html

One day I was able to find one but I did not buy it because it had become a rare model and was too expensive. Now I got the chance. It is much bigger and more stunning compared to that 1:400 model.

Anyone in the US get their hands on this one yet? I'm late to the game and seems a bit hard to find at the moment. Looks like the European retailers have them but the shipping is not attractive. Airplaneshop has one but they are just about the most expensive retailer.

Nice looking model. How about a 787-8 house colours. Will go nicely along side this model and the 787-9.

That one would be sweet.

I think a re-release of the roll-out scheme would be in order as well. There are plenty of collectors which still want that one too, but missed the boat on the first release.

So JC Wings, please do another run of the polished livery MD-11 Roll-out again..

I lucked out,and a member recently sold me that model. It is in the: "good luck" category in terms of finding it. I was very fortunate.

Talking about md11's and triple 7's; I noticed that the company logo of Boeing is almost the same then the MDD logo? Did they restyle the logo when they aquired MDD?

Since it was a merger, in the spirit of a merger Boeing incorporated McD-D's logo into their font.

And then eventually killed off all production at Long Beach. First the Mad Dog line, then the MD-11, then the B717, and finally the C-17.

They made boatloads of money on the C-17, and then there was lots of aftermarket demand for the MD-11 and B717...

All that's left is a hangar with the 'FLY DC JETS' logo, Mercedes builds Smart cars there now.
