Default ARD BMI A330-200 & Inflight Lufthansa A350-900 Landed

Well Guy's Picked these two superb models up this morning, both made on Inflight moulds, the first one is ARD's own brand BMI A330-200 G-WWBD in the "2000,s" dark blue red & white livery, a beautiful model with excellent detail witch also has magnetic landing gear, and something different a blue stand witch I think makes it stand out, the second model is the Lufthansa A350-900
D-AIXA, this model also comes with magnetic landing gear and also some nice detailing.

BMI A330-200 G-WWBD

I never had the IF 200 A330 before, the BMI A330 might be my very first one, it will go nicely with my Gemini 200 A319 of the same airline...

This is the first release of the A330 by IF, isn't it? Looks pretty good to me!

I'm a little disappointed in my LH a350. One of the gears was over painted/powder coated and won't move, and there is some sloppy painting on the leading edge of the right wing.

Is the new A330 also coming with detachable gears?

Picked up my BMI A330 on saturday steve. It is a stunning model, but I was disappointed to find out the price had increased by £20 on the price I received on a email only 3 days earlier which was a pre brexit price. It's a shame as these big price increases are taking the shine off the models for me!

Hi Simon, What did you pay, as I paid £107 and that was with the 10% discount which was more than the pre order price, Paul did say inflight have put up there price's, and with Gemini doing the same, it is becoming an expensive hobby, I think many collectors will start cutting back, or even stopping all together, and I think that will be a shame, i have been collecting for well over twenty years or so now and have really enjoyed it, and finding these forums have made it even more fun, but like you I will start to draw in the purse strings, as well.

Great model reviews as ever Steve. The BMI A330-200 ARD / Inflight looks exactly like I thought it would. It's a mould share with Phoenix or does Inflight have a mould very close to Phoniex's one? Looks great Steve. I knew magnetic gear was coming with Phoenix mould as I had to replace faulty landing gear on one of my models. Magnet placement holes where already there. I am wondering if this is the same mould

Same here for me! Am currently looking to adjust my collecting criteria. I can't unfortunately afford to spend over £100 on all 200 scale models not just on 747s, a380s.

I have found that ARD and the other uk retailers are all being hit with new brexit prices. As someone who researches this crap for a living, I'm pretty confident in saying prices are going to get much worse before they improve. Time to start saving money not spending it on manufacturers and giving it to retailers that supported brexit.

I acknowledge that my statement was not correct, this the reason why it was quickly deleted.

That said, prices in the other parts of Europe are up too …

If the prices do keep increasing, It will be time for me to stop collecting. I can't and won't be paying excessive prices for models, unless I can sniff out some bargins here and there.

Not my best photo but it shows of the 330 nicely with the A319 & emb145, hopefully a 320/321 will be made as well!
Nice model to add to the collection.

Thanks Surinam,

I have spoke to ARD and I think the 320/321 will be done now they have the colours and the mold!
I did mention the 737 but they don't have the mold and the colours were applied to only that 737 so may have to wait for that one to be done.

How does the Inflight Lufthansa A350 compare to the Gemini version?
