Both portrayals by IF are of the same 1 to 1 727. The first listing is for it in its earliest configuration and the second listing is when it was outfitted with winglets. I used to see the 1 to 1 in both configurations at LAX when I traveled out there all the time, including when it was sitting there for sale. I passed on it! I prefer the non winglet version on the 100. Now I do like the Winglet look on a 200 version of the 727, like the Pan Am Billboard, which joined my collection in the last month. Depends on the look you like!

I just sold my Trump 757-200 on eBay today, it went for $202.50. I’m still thinning out my collection as I get ready to relocate. There sure are some nitpickers out there. The model was in mint condition and never displayed, but one potential buyer didn’t like the fact that the “M” in the Trump titles on the left side wasn’t absolutely perfect during tampo printing. It was a tiny, tiny flaw that didn’t bother me at all as the owner of it.

This is the model here. You practically need a magnifying glass to see the minuscule flaw.

Whoops! This is the first time I’ve ever posted a picture on the site. Why did it end up upside down? Apologies for that!

I'd sell one of my Trump 757's for $650. In no rush to sell either of them. Prices are all over the place so it's hard to hone in on the market. I'll have to reassess we I get back from my next hitch

I never lost a model as perfect. I’ll tell you any flaws I’m aware of but I’ll never say perfect. I’ll provide as many pics as someone wants but it’s up to them because you never know when you’re gonna deal with a guy like that and now they want you to eat shipping both ways over something so ridiculous.

The questions people ask about the models are so nitpicking, it’s beyond ridiculous. They expect these models to be absolutely flawless when placed under intense spotlights with a magnifying glass. I always buy my models new from the retailers, usually as pre-orders, and have never returned one yet.

I noticed someone else had a Trump 757 listed right before my auction. They started their auction at $299 with a “Buy It Now” of $400. It didn’t sell.

Remember you are selling it to a trump fan, to them the problem was "Yuge"!

I may have to relist my Trump 757. The buyer just sent me a message through eBay that they don’t want to pay the sales tax and they want me to remove it from their bill. I told them that I don’t collect the sales tax, it’s eBay, so they have to go through them. I need a drink.

...what a S&^t bag buyer! Somewhat funny regarding the plane he/she was potentially buying...very fitting! I would block them!

I once had a guy refuse a package in UK cuz he insisted I pay import tax when I had previously advised I do not pay import tax. He was banking on me giving in, which I did not and package was returned. F%$king wanker!

I contacted the buyer after speaking to fleaBay customer service and apparently the buyer wasn’t aware that the state where they live now charges sales tax on online purchases, so they have to pay it. The buyer finally paid.

Well, the days of tax free online buying looking like its nearly gone. I notice a few of my amazon purchases are still tax free but kinda wonder how long that will last..... oh well, i guess just enjoy the whatever occasional tax free purchase you got right now because they are gone soon too.

eBay then likes to add insult to injury by charging a final value fee on the sales tax for an interstate used transaction.

I prefer the non-winglet one and the one I chose for my collection. I personally don't like the winglet look on the 100 series 727. Really up to you and your preference. If you cant decide based on pics and have the money, buy both, get them in your hands, then decide if you'll sell your least favorite or keep both!

I’ve bought a couple models from a retailer in California of all places, and I’m still living in NY State for the next couple of months (Texas here I come, y’all!), and they haven’t charged me sales tax on the models. I’m willing to pay the tax, my usual online retailer for models has been charging for a few years now, what can you do?

Just don't bring down here what you're leaving and you'll be fine. People are leaving California and New York for Texas and Florida because it's expensive or whatever the case may be and still vote the same way because it'll be different this time. Some people just don't understand

Oh no! I’m from upstate and we’re not like NYC. I’m going to DFW, you couldn’t pay me enough to live in Austin with what’s happened there.

I went to school in upstate and the rents have a place up there. It's out of this world beautiful. I really do feel bad for people who have to live under the iron fist of NYC. I wish y'all could break off from the city. And only two people in Texas claim Austin, people from Austin and people from California. You'll learn though, they are the butt of every Texas joke. Welcome to Texas! Cowboy hats, guns, and boots. Enjoy!

I had both the 727 and 757 models in my collection

I got them for the "presidential collection" but I sold them off. Don't get me wrong, they were great looking models, but part of me wants to throw both models at the wall lol

I’ve got 3 new cowboy hats and a pair of boots. Will probably join a shooting range when I get down there, it’s a good way to meet people and make new friends. I’ve spent a lot time there in the past year, I’m going to fit right in.

I’ll also probably weigh 500 lbs. when I move there if I’m not careful, with all the good food in Texas. I’m a big fan of barbecue, steakhouses and Tex-Mex.
