Default Cargo ramp at night

There are some new cargo models i bought in the last months. Yesterday night i had a littel time to take some pics of them together with this layout. When i saw the photos today, I think I put a little too much GSEs on the ramp. The 1st, 2nd and the 3rd pic i took with the 28mm lens, they look Ok, but the other pics with the 100mm lens, it seem to be too busy as usual.

Superb as always. Do you use a flash or natural light in the room Vandan?

Thanks I've used scarcely ever a flash, only the permanent source of light.
For those pics i took it at night and I used a dark light source and set ISO only 50 or 100, Shutter speed:f18 (some pics with f22), aperture: 3,2", it depends on light source.

Thanks I am not really pleased with myself . This was a bit sloppy and not very accurateleid. Unfortunately, I only spotted after I have seen the photos on the computer.

In fact I don't always have time, this time it was at midnight, from 11p.m --> 02 a.m, and I only habe a small corner for photographing, that means, every time wenn I will take the picture, I must set it up and finally i have to tidy it up. It needs very much time.
For this set up like above and clean it up after, i needed 2 hours and about an hour for the taking pictures. I think, it cannot work without passion.

I love it - looks great. The small lights really capture the feeling of depth and scale that is so hard to get from 1/400 dioramas.

What is the UPS 747-200F? I've never seen that one before. That is super cool.

Congratulations …

A lot of realism in these pictures.
Maybe one day you will cut the nose on one of your freighters to show it with the nose cargo door open …

It will be harder but i think, it is possible for 1:400 to take pictures like these, what you need, is the good lens like the canon macro 60mm or 100mm 2.8, the models of scale 1:400 are also very nice and detailed.

It was summer olympics 1996, UPS painted some airplanes with this livery "Worldwide Olympic Partner", also a B757 (N466UP) and a B767 (N320UP). I hope, that JCW will make soon these 2 models.

You can see some more photos of this model: http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...ic-n521up.html

Thanks Jean Pierre .
Yes, very good idea, someday i will make some models like these and hope also that JCW/GJ/IF will make some models of MD11, B747 or B777 with nose - door open.

Definitely needs the passion and the ability not to get caught...

Mrs Agent leaves the house.. the lounge - becomes a photography studio.. shots taken and all cleared up before Mrs Agent gets back... Bit like Bill and Ben and the Gardener...

It is far far safer outside...
