Thank you aki.
Always interested in flying boats.
I am working on a SARO Princess … Pictures soon.

Y 24 000 = € 210
A bit expensive.

I'm looking forward to seeing the one! Here's the one by Sky Classics.

Nice picture aki.

My princess is a resin kit, I am trying something, the propellers are white metal, they were sanded, brushed and polished with a cotton swab in a Dremel tool.
I now have to paint the propeller deicers.
If I am not satisfied with the result, I still have the option to paint them.
I attach a bad quality picture.
Pitot tubes and antenna are missing on the model.
I have the beaching gear but the model will be displayed on a stand, floats retracted.

The airline livery is very nice, I am afraid that applying the decals is quite challenging, my model will have the livery of the first flights.
I still have some work ahead …

Jean Pierre.

Very nice so far, Jean! Can't wait to see your finished work. Here's what you're talking about, isn't it?

Yes, this one.

I have just painted the deicers on the blades of one propeller.
I am waiting a little bit before removing the masking tape.

Hi Aki- Thanks for the information on this release. I had it on pre-order with HobbyLink Japan for several years at about half that price, but they recently canceled my order. Still looking forward to it.

Jean Pierre- Your Princess is coming along nicely. Are you going to do AF markings?

The model is as interesting as the real aircraft, if there is an opportunity to buy one, I could add it to my wish list.

This aircraft has something unique, it has a Boundary Layer Control system, a small engine in the fuselage generates compressed air around the flaps and the control surfaces.

Put simply, the wing is more efficient, the stall speed is very low, despite the low speed, the lift is still there and the drag is reduced.

The aircraft is able to fly at very low speed, the landing speed is as low as 55 knots and it takes off at 80 knots.
These speeds are those of a light aircraft, all this for a Max Take Off Weight of 43 t.
Quite remarkable.

No Danny !
AF ceased flying boat operations in 1948 after the loss of a Latécočre 631 west of Dakar.

I sent an email to Marcel van der Willik (Aviation Megastore) to ask him if he could get the AVIONI-X models in stock.

The answer is very clear, the price asked by Hobby Link in Japan is not reasonable and these models will never be available from AM.

It's too bad, if one of you goes to Japan …

Hi there, Danny! How're you doing? According to the MFR, they will be released in this December.
