Beautiful! That livery looked great on all SAS-jets of that era - from the Caravelle and the DC-9 to the DC-8, DC-10 and 747. Truly iconic design.

I received mine today from Aviation Megastore.

Engine nr 1 has a loan cowl i think as it is missing the sas logo

I must say, I am a little bit frustrated that they have omitted "SAS" on engine no 1.
I have never seen SE-DDL without "SAS" marking on engine no 1 on any picture.
What should be the point of making a model without this marking on engine no 1????
They have surely made a misstake in the factory.

Now I have opened my package!!

So, It was correct with all engines correctly marked!!!

Confused, because Aviation Megastore show engine no. 1 without marking
on there pictures.

Well i can tell you mine has a loan cowl from the engine shop of another airline No SAS on my #1.

Nothing some decal couldnt fix but yes a shame that it is missing
