Beautiful model. JCW really does have a great 747-400 mold and they make a nice 747.
Can't tell from the pics, but it looks like the color on the tail may be a little too blue? It looks like a slightly different color that the first 'stripe'. Other than that, it looks great!
Looks great this model, very tempting although I see the horizontal stabilisers on this version is unpainted, unlike the IF200 version which is the painted purple same as the tail rudder...which version is true? I have the IF200 bird myself so I might go for the cargo version instead.

Both are right actually, 2 versions you just said are existed in the Thai 744. The existing HS-TGG are with unpainted horizontal stablisiers.

BOTH are correct. The prototype aircraft was painted both ways at different times of her airline service.
Is the violet paint metallic? Also, it looks a bit too blue-ish, does it?
Those were my thoughts too. The tail looks too 'blue' to me too. It also looks like a slightly different color than the stripe. Hopefully it is just the lighting in the picture
I have the cargo version. The tail colour is a slightly different shade to the fuselage stripe. Not a deal breaker for me and I am colour fussy normally. Overall, colours are similar to the GJ Thai a330 and 777, they look good side by side, although the JC colours are slightly darker. They are the previous Thai metallics, not the newer brighter solid colours the airline are using now (which IMO are not as classy as the darker metallics).
