Inflight seems to have done a very nice job recreating it.

haha I think you have to be dutch to have that special feeling with the color orange I would have liked it better if if they just made it orange all the way. Not the stange orange/blue crossover.

I agree that they should have painted the aircraft only orange,-but this is
still a very attractive model.

Welcome to the forum Schaeffer.
I too am not a fan of the orange and blue paint job. It makes me think this is the love child of KLM and CP Air, all grown up now

Very nice looking model and great detail pics. Thanks for posting.

I wish Inflight would make a regular 'Last Livery' KLM 777-300ER on their improved (current) mold, although this one is tempting for completing my KLM 777-300ER collection. I wasn't considering this model until I saw your pics. Overall, I still prefer the Inflight 777-300ER mold over other brands, mainly due to the shape of the nose, cockpit window printing, and engine shape and size. They just look better and more realistic to me when compared to pics of the real thing.

The tires aren't bad at all, if fact they look pretty good in person. And it is nice to have the main bogies able to tilt to a realistic angle when the model is on it's stand!

Seen this in person today, its beautiful! And a really nice touch that the stand is the same shade of orange. They have also done the same on the ANZ All Black B777, beautiful stand!

The radome on inflight 777s bothers me. It is way overdone.

It looks MUCH better in person!! Look at the third pic, it still shows it too dark, but it is closer to what you would actually see. Or just look at [email protected]'s pictures above.

Sometimes high resolution digital cameras picks up too much detail in close in pics.

Wow! Very nice model! Although, I don't see how some people think the inflight GE-90s are better then the JC ones. The Inflight ones just look off compared to the real thing. The difference between them are like night and day.

I second that. Even the landing gears are not accurate.

@CharlieAlpha I just think that JC got the overall rounded shape pretty much accurate. I mean they aren't perfect but I think think they are about as good as we are going to get. I was only commenting about the JC engines being better because you said you prefer the Inflight ones. Also, yes I do know the difference between the 777-300 and 777-300er. Trust me, I've obsessed over aircraft for the past years of my life. But Inflight does have a great 777-300er

It looks like those little black bumps on top (I don't know what they are called or what they do) are separate pieces. Is that true? they look great

It seems to me that when someone biased to other manufacturers, any error on his/her models will become correct and looks MUCH better in person, the radome/tyres/engines and colour gradient on this model are good examples. Can be excuse of his/her own model or this is just a case of one manufacturer bashing another one ?

I like this livery, it's certainly different.

I'd like to see KLM paint some of their fleet all orange, just for a change.

I'm not sure I'll get this one though and have to say the black stand on the new zealand one looks nicer than the choice of orange on this one!

Not at all.

Not my model. I'm not affiliated in any way with Inflight, I've never done any design work for them and I'm not an employee. The Inflight 777-300ER is not my design in whole or any part.

I like the Inflight 777-300ER, including this model because I think it is the better model because of things like raised satellite domes, extra detail on the tail, actual opening for the APU, and better looking nose and window and door positioning. Better for me, not perfect. I know there are many here who disagree with that, which is the way it should be. No conspiracy, no company representation, just my opinion which seems to be shared by other members here too, but definitely not by all or even most.

This model is another example of Inflight's fine 777-300ER model. The JCW 777-300ER is nice too. If produced in a livery that I wanted and not available from Inflight, I would buy the JCW model too. The difference between the two 777-300ER designs is the member's preference, that's all. No conspiracy, just an appreciation for diecast models for most of us.

This is a stricking livery, although all orange may look even better. I think the orange section may be slightly long but not by much, but the thing that bothers me with this model is where the two colours meet. The finish either side is shiney, but looks matt in the middle. It is a nice model and thanks for sharing, I will wait for the JCW one to arrive and choose one of the two!

I saw this model and the ANZ All Black model. Both look really nice. The orange and blue scheme is starting to grow on me, but I opted for the ANZ model. Too many models and I'm running out of space to get both.

And so I wouldn't miss out completely, I also got the Phoenix 1/400 Orange Pride model too!
