Default Qatar 787 on JCW/GJ mould.

Surprisingly this model only released on IF only, and with wrong colour. Why JCW/GJ never make this model to the market?

Phoenix have made this model as well, and the colour looks a lot better, but do not go by picture's.

Correct...Phoenix made one also, and it was the correct color.

I'm with you though hoping that Gemini or JC will release it. I'm really surprised it hasn't arrived yet.

I'm also waiting patiently for GJ/JCW to make this one. The Phoenix release is quite a couple of years old by now, and the 2 IF models seem way too dark.

Agree with your comments regarding the In Flight version of this model. It is definitely an incorrect color. Though I'm not a fan of the Phoenix tooling for the 787-8 I made the decision for purchasing the Phoenix version after pre-ordering and receiving the In Flight version.

I'd jump at the opportunity of either Gemini Jets or JC Wings producing it on their tooling. Then I can have three in my collection.

I'm holding off on any JCW 787s until I see the promised revisions to the mold to correct the engine ground clearance problem. Hopefully the fix involves more than just lengthening the landing gear.

I think the wing needs to be a bit thicker at the root where it joins the wingbox as well. It would look more accurate!
