Default Photos-JCW ANZ new "all black" livery 777-300ER

Photos not taken by me, looks like new pylon and engine core, just for the ones who need to make their own judgement or decision.

The nose looks better, much better. We really need a direct side shot to be sure, but it looks good in this pic.

The bottom of the pax windows should be at the widest point of the fuselage. If you are seated in a window seat, the bottom of the window is usually between your shoulder and elbow. If you look down, the fuselage actually starts to curve in again before reaching the floor, which is at the same level as the bottom of the door. To be correct, the bottom of the windows need to be at the widest part of the fuselage, and the bottom of the doors should curve inward. You should be able to draw a line across the bottom of the doors and it should hit the center of the nose. Looks like the nose does that, but need a direct side shot to be sure. Bottom of the nose looks flatter too. Looks like a nice job if the results can be kept consistent without too much 'sanding variations'. Good job JCW.

Jeweled landing lights look good too. With both JCW and IF having them on their 777-300ER models, they should now be the new standard at this point. The dark area around the wing landing light looks great too. Another really nice touch.

I would really like to see more pics of the tail, but the tail looks like a winner too. I would like to particularly see the APU area, and a 'bump' for the lower position light on the tail would be a nice addition too.

Can't tell if the engine pylons place the engine up where it is supposed to be, but it looks like it does. Hopefully the pylons are a little wider. Can't tell from the pics. I would like a side view of the engines/pylons before making too many comments. The only questionable area for me: The front of the engine cowl still looks like it curves down too soon (right at the tip of the pylon) instead of further forward, and a little too much (could just be the angle of the picture), but that is the only improvement that I would make.

Other than the top of the engine cowls, I'm impressed.

Nice job and a big thanks for the pics!! I may have to start buying JCW 777-300ERs again (I actually never stopped).

Not the best looking livery, but the small improvements on the mould look great. I'm looking forward to seeing more 777s released with the improvements. Especially a Delta 777-200lr.

Thanks for the comments from Ghostk, now they have the correct pylons, and the only accurate flared pylons. Try turn the model upside down if you don't know what I mean.
Image below is their old pylon.

hello,

Just saw this update (that was fast !!) => the pylon looks great now !
Thks Tonka for providing the pics

That was my main complain and the fact that JC wings did listen to collectors is a really good thing (considering that they did change the ge90-115b recently )now it is time for SIA and AF B777-300er

Image below is their old pylon.

The rear of the engine and pylon still looks off to me when compared to the 1:1, but most members will probably like the mods and won't care about the specifics. The mods do show JCW is willing to modify their molds until the are perfect, and I give a shout out for that effort.

Unfortunately for me, the engines and pylons aren't quite there yet for a number of reasons.

this model just keeps getting better and better. It's like an apple iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy... JC would make some extra money if they sold the engine and pylons... I really like the new lines on the nacelle.

I agree! There are some old Gemini 1:200 777-300er models that I would like to have new engines for! These new engines make the old tiny versions look even more tiny!
