very nice pix! Thanks for sharing. This rare bird is very hard to find. Hopefully there will be a reissue from JC Wings or Gemini in the near future!

I hope this should be release by GJ as GJ now finally have a good 747 mould from JC and has been releasing Thai models, next one should be A346 too!

Look at that metallic purple color!

I have been looking so bad for this model too. I wouldn't mind trading the Aerosur "Torisimo" for this one, nah, actually I do. I agree with the posts above, JC must bring this one.

Have you seen the new JAL B744 "red crane"? Looks pretty nice.

Greetings!

I don't understand why IF200 painted the horizontal stabilizers in all purple. The real aircraft is like this :

Also ,the registration on the top of the wing should be in purple instead of black.
I hope JC will produce a correct one ...

If you want to sell it, you may have to do it asap ... I believe JC will release one sooner or later.

IF should also paint the wing in purple.

To quote my daughter, It is only a model. Not the real thing. Why dwell on it?

Sorry I cannot agree with you.... the market price of this model had reached USD$300 to $400 before. I cannot accept such big mistake even if it is a USD$30 model.

It is not a mistake. Please check these pictures out. The horizontal stabilizer was painted purple when they first brought out this livery:

Boeing 747-4D7 - Thai Airways International | Aviation Photo #1002650 | Airliners.net

Boeing 747-4D7 - Thai Airways International | Aviation Photo #1242730 | Airliners.net

Thai Airways quickly painted the stabilizers back to their normal greyish colour because it was too hard to maintain the paint on this part of the tail, especially at the leading edge where it kept chipping off.

I love the Thai livery, and that is why I got it. My daughter was not too thrilled at first, but now she told me she refuses to let me trade it in
