Terrific! Would also like to see it wearing the new livery...but to be honest this classic livery fits better.

Oh dear,

Another great survival story I expect. Was this the end of the EC-JOH?.

Anyone know was this bird salvaged?

Very nice model and will get this one though..........
Yup that was the end of JOH. She served IB only a couple of months. She overshoot the runway during extreme weather and ended up like above.

Don't get why JC took this reg and not the one named 'Gaudi' for example.

Nice looking model. It looks like JCW has managed to capture the look of the 'Airbus nose' on this one. The rest of the model and painted details look very good too.

Not in my collecting criteria, but should make A340-600 and Iberia fans happy.

Thanks for the update. The rego is what I always check out prior to a decision on a purchase. It's a lovely model. The fact that it was only months old & it's end is sad. Still worth getting.

.....or maybe the reg. EC-LFS "Ciudad de México" which is the last A340 ever built but I guess they didn't consider this registration as Herpa already took it some years ago for its version. Just checking on internet, Iberia received the last A340 almost 6 six ago, July 16th 2010. Curious!

Bird got scrapped short after she suffered the accident, by 2009 it was just a bunch of spare parts for sale. A very short life for her.

I just love it when they listen to the customers and do it right. Didn't take a while. No wonder why JC Wings has the best 747 mold IMHO. Now the A330 and A340 getting better. New GSE and Jet Bridges coming. What's next? 777, 747 and A380 flaps down? Doors open? Motorized engines?...flying models?...Airport terminals?

Any chance to have the livery of the first flight ?
F-WWAS as a registration would be fine.
I buy it immediately.

Why too late? We still need and wait for a decent Air France A340-300 in "1990s" livery

Me too Jean Pierre! Thanks for the update Tonka it's great news. I already have some A340-300's like Cathay Pacific & Finnair oneworld's. I would be more than pleased
if some older livery's could be considered now the mold has been revised. How lucky are we. Thank you JC/GJ and JJ & others (you know who you are) to get the revision done
and thanks for listing JC/GJ

Back on topic, & I agree, must be one of the shortest purchased serving airframes in the last 20 years. I think it's a great choice of rego & this would be sold out soon if not, in the next few weeks. Just an early call but 1425 views and many comments. Well done JC

I'll reserve judgement until I see the final model with 'improvements'. Hasn't the A330 mold already been revised once? As with some other JCW molds, I hope the center of the nose comes down a bit and the cockpit window printing is revised to be a little larger, a common problem with a few JCW molds. This mold looks decent, so good revisions to other Airbus models should be possible.

Speaking of revisions, hopefully we will see some pictures soon of the revised 777-300ER mold. That mold could use improvements to the nose and engines also. Fixing these 2 molds will make some (many?) quite happy.

I found a shorter servicing Airframe MSN 856 rego F-WWCJ with zero flight cycle's because the aircraft could not be delivered, on the Airbus test bed Toulouse- Blagnac TLS / LFBO
This could also be an interesting model for consideration. someone lost their job Airframes just went up in production cost. Insurance do they ever pay? Just an idea
