just what I would personally hope for as I haven't picked up either of the previous 2 releases and I'm not a Delta or NW collector.

Please Gemini just gimme a month for my wallet to recoup. Make anything besides North American stuff aka the stuff I don't collect and all these other collectors want.

If the guesses are "spot on" about the Delta 744 and American A321 then I'm screwed this month. Will need to give my bank account CPR as last month was a huge buying month for me.

I'll be honest, I'd be just as happy without it. I'm good with waiting for the actual list rather than all the speculating followed by a fair bit of surprise and disappointment that the list seems so detached from many of the hints.

Yes, and I'm holding off making a purchase of a model that has been on my want list, depending on the announcements.

Pretty sure we all get that it's a couple of Airbuses. But that doesn't exactly narrow it down much. Not much to get excited about.

Pretty sure you didn't catch my drift. You go ahead and keep thinking the "bus"' comment is an Airbus. My last post said don't overthink it.

This is a perfect example of why folks here get upset about these hints. Folks fathom up what you think it'll be and when it's not what you guessed or posted it would be folks get all upset.

My favorite comment during these hints are "nothing for me this month". How the f*** do you know nothing for you this month? Based off what you see a bunch of forum peeps guessing?

That's my rant....Zen these last comments aren't directed at you personally but rather in general.

I couldn't be underthinking "bus" more if I tried. If it's not an Airbus, then overthinking is not the issue. We're obviously not thinking hard enough. I'll happily just wait for the answers.

You'll laugh when the releases are announced. Overthinking or under thinking it won't matter how you spin it....it's so easy. I'm wiling to bet you'll be underwhelmed by it anyway.

Yeah, I get that some people love the game. That's fine. GeminiJets is my favourite manufacturer of 1/200 scale aircraft, but the hints just aren't for me. Not a fan.

I kind of thought this for from the beginning, but I think what he is getting at is they are literally buses. My guess for these would be a couple GSE buses. I think it was mentioned before that more GSE would be out this year.

Believe it or not there is a reason for these hints though I agree they are quite obscure and seldom can one figure them out..As mentioned even knowing the answers, I have trouble matching the answers to the clues....

In years past ADI receives a manifest from HKG on what is being sent. Those releases are posted as incoming and enroute. Well, you guessed it when the container shows up, not all that is listed on the manifest arrives. Next, comes the complaints and criticism about models not being available.

The official announcement of releases is made public once that container arrives and is offloaded and the invoiced inventory is all accounted for.

The hints are just for fun as a way to hold off on that official announcement. Its a way to kill time in between releases...If some DACers are annoyed by it, just dont open that thread!

Well I for one really appreciate the hints from Gemini and always enjoy trying to figure out some of the riddles... its good light hearted fun so people don't need to take it too seriously...

It helps add to the enjoyment of the hobby for me and a little of what makes Gemini stand out from the rest...

Other manufacturers just dump out the releases straight off and then months can go by before we actually see anything, at least Gemini are consistent...

Keep up the good work!!!

I too enjoy these hint threads. It tells us at the least that the new arrivals are imminent, longshoreman strike notwithstanding. It seems to me however, many people are trying to make the clues fit their desired release instead of reading the clue with an open mind, says the guy who never gets one right

I'm certainly not annoyed by the hints (after all, I am the person who started this thread, lol) but I am more of a "to the point" straight-forward person and would prefer just having the new releases announced.

However, it is great to know the process and why GJ provides the hints.

Other manufacturers just dump out the releases straight off and then months can go by before we actually see anything, at least Gemini are consistent...

Keep up the good work!!!
This is a good point. I love my InFlight DC-9s and DC-10s but you nailed it on the head. I preordered and paid for, the downside of paypal, the polished belly CP Air DC-10 they announced one year ago and still nothing.

Inflight is terrible for announcing releases and then taking ages to actually release them.

I like the hints. It gives me a little hope that it's gonna be a model I want until the releases are announced only to see its not haha (TWA MD80).
Like others have said though I don't see what the big deal is. If you don't like the hints, then simply don't go into the thread lol. Pretty simple really.

I agree. I like them. Fun to try to figure out what they are ahead of time, but like some people have said it can get a bit vague at times. I'm sure it isn't easy to come up with these hints without being too obvious either.

Ditto. I like to try and guess, but some of the clues are way over my head too. And yeah, I also agree you don't want to make it too easy either!
