The 757's are like hogans but with more detail and the front gear rotates. Overall pretty nice models to me.

I have a BA A 319 and an Austrian Airlines A 321, their quality is equivalent to the Hogan and Herpa models that were available in those days.

They are good models.

I've several Starjets models and in my opinion 757s are the best ones. I think they were ahead for their times. Here are some pictures, hope this can help you.

What??? I love that BA Landor livery, can't believe it never went into production! So it costs just as much as a GJ200 WestJet 737-800!

I recently picked up a Starjets Eastern 757...very very nice, similar reflective finish as the vastly more expensive Herpa Premium American A300.

Amazing, man! Looks just like the detail you'd expect on a decent 1/200 (plastic) model at first glance!

I have about 10 but not in my diecast collection and are all very nice models and ahead of their time. I think only the antennas are missing to be competitive with the today's standard.

Also look for the Russell Models 757 i believe same mould.

2x Iron Maiden 757s
Blue Peter British Airways 757
Monarch old colors 757

The Monarch is a bargain at the moment usually under UK £15.

used to have that model as well at one time Andy! iirc its one of their 'platinum' series model. and comes in posh black box. similar to the herpa premium boxes.

ooh777 has one for sale on here. its 45 euros + shipping. but has NO box. so its a bit expensive.

Yeah, it has a fancy box with silver writing on it. I got it for about US$70 which I thought was a little on the pricey side for a plastic model, but a lot cheaper than the Gemini version. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the high mirror finish and now feel I got a bit of a hidden gem, even if it cost a little more than I would normally have paid.

As a 1:400 collector I only have about 8 models in 1:200, 3 of those however are Starjets/Russell 757's, all very satisfactory and as said further up, only lacking antenna and perhaps more realistic detailed gears, by today's standards.

FYI StarJets models was started the same time by Gemini jets to compete with Herpa in the 500 scale business..In time they expanded into 200 scale with the A320 family, 757 moulds...They were ahead of their time and still look great today...

toward the end they were branded under the Russell Models name...

I think so. I'm not sure 100%, but apart P&W engines, the rest of the model, fuselage and wings, seems to be exactly the same.
In my opinion, JC has only added different engines at Starjets mould.
