Default Make models that don't exist???

So here is an idea for the 1:200 model companies (JC Wings, Gemini. Inflight200) etc.

How about making dream models …example KLM 747-8 on that new Gemini 200 mold ..would look amazing we will never see it in real life. But having a model would be a stunner.

Not a bad idea at all but I'm still hoping that KLM will order them at some point & that Gemini 200 will produce them & we as collectors & KLM fans will purchase them!

I don't understand people who get all upset about it. I am personally not a fan myself and can't think of a fantasy model of any kind that I would buy but I certainly don't get mad if someone makes one and other people want to buy it. It's your money...

Some of us might like a new plane in an older livery. Or a livery that one collects. These are both ones of many of SM200's releases.

I'm a fan of certain fantasy models so don't see why the models wouldn't sell, maybe not in great volumes, but they probably would still sell...

I have a fantasy Virgin Atlantic A380 and Concorde in my collection and would always be open to adding other... especially a Virgin 748...

Korean Air Retro and BA Landor 748i for me - not THAT far fetched (maybe we'll see it one day)....considering the fact that KLM did not eben get this type.

this is not fair, you literally get animated by some manufacturer to think of fantasy models (i just say Eastern Concorde).

so why shouldn't i dream of a JAL Retro 77W model - which is far more real than ANY fictional Concorde model.

I'm not a fan of fantasy models myself but that Air Canada 777 looks fantastic! Hopefully AC will paint one up like PIA have.

"The 747 full pax will be replaced with the 777-300ER, for which there are still a couple on order. After taking a closer look, it becomes clear that both aircraft are very similar in terms of passenger capacity for these lower density long haul routes. The critical difference is the cargo capacity of course: KLM is forced to say goodbye to the highly profitable ‘Combi’ concept. While the economic crisis of recent years has severely impacted the demand for cargo and the resulting capacity requirements, KLM continued its efforts to persuade Boeing in building a 747-8 Combi. Due to the added certification costs of such a unique configuration, it only becomes profitable for Boeing with a certain number of aircraft on order. KLM does not need that many aircraft on its own and so far there have been no other interested parties, not even Air France, for a combined order. Therefore Boeing will not offer a 747-8 Combi and KLM will end operating the 747 when its last 747-400 are put out of service."

Seems like KL will focus on its 77W, B787-9 and B787-10 and will most likely get B77X in the future..
