Delta and Midwest!

I miss those nice leather seats and chocolate chip cookies. For a while Midwest was one of the few perks of living near Milwaukee.

One of the few times I'll say, start pumping out the Hawaiians!

Of all the choices, I certainly would enjoy seeing these:

House colors
TWA/AA Hybrid
Impulse
Delta
Hawaiian

FINALLY!!
Mold looks good but the engines look a little odd. Maybe just the angle of pic, or maybe these are just samples, but they don't look round enough to me, and kind of miss the 'look ' of the real thing..

Despite that, this one took a long time from the hint to announcement, but it looks like it is finally here. Airtran, Delta and maybe Southwest for me, maybe.

No, I did mean Southwest, although Midwest would be good too. I think at one time, Southwest was going to keep and repaint some of the Airtran 717s in the Canyon Blue scheme after the merger. I know it would be a 'fantasy never was' model, but I still think it would be kind of a cool model.

It does. Lets hope the engines get fixed on the production model because the engines in the pics don't look like the real thing at all to me.
And it seems to me that 'samples' have a habit of showing up as unmodified production models with increasing frequency these days.

It is not a complaint. It is an observation. That is what we do here if you haven't noticed, when manufacturers post sample pics of a new model. We do this in the hopes of getting a better model, or in this case, better engines on the production versions. We also try to do this on manufacture announcements so we aren't commenting on people's threads with pictures of their new models. But I suppose we could go back to the other way if other members want that too.

The existing engines look like a hybrid MD-80/717 engine, but not really like either one. I'm sure JCW can do better with a little effort.

Also on the Jetstar livery, can we please have the A320 and A321 in metal?

Gosh...for this plane not being very popular and not a good seller, there sure are lots of liveries out there to consider.

Ok, after looking at LOTS of pics of the 1:1, the engines don't look so bad. I think it is just the angle in the first pic, and the shadow in the next set that made the engines look off to me. It they do a Delta livery, I'm in.
