Default KLM Herpa A330-300

Hi everyone,

I was wondering what people's opinions are on the Herpa A330-300 diecast mould? I have not seen any pictures of the model side from ones taken by the company. Does anyone have any pictures of this model or of the Herpa mould?

Thanks!

Okay, thanks! I thought it was plastic, but two retailers that I saw had it said it was diecast, so I was a little confused. Thanks again!

You can find a few photos here: http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...ml#post1047668

The damaged model is still for sale (price is a bit negotiable). I am also selling an my undamaged second model at a reasonable price. Let me know if you're interested.

As has been said, the model is completely plastic. I had the Herpa KLM A330-300 once, but got rid of it because I didn't like the way the cockpit and window printing and nose of the model looked. This is not the excellent Hogan A330 mold, but rather the Lysia/ALP mold.

Before buying, I wold get pictures of the nose and cockpit area to see if you would be happy with the model. If a A330-200 would fit your collecting criteria, I would look for an older Herpa KLM A330-200 that DOES use the Hogan mold. That is a much better looking model IMHO.

I agree completely with you. Hogan A330 mould remains definitively the best one (IMHO).

Okay, thanks for all the information! I think I will stay away from this model for now.
