Default A350- carbon fibre livery

A day before visiting the airshow. I saw this leaving Changi at around 1700hrs SGT. So this is the new addition to my collection. Got the flap up version.

At first, I thought the stand is wrong. but it is actually correct. Such unique stand.

the magnetic cover for the nose gear did not have the reg number printed on it. other than that, it is a good model

Great choice! I have the PHX 1:400 version (F-WWCF) and on the first day (opening) of the airshow, saw it took off just out of my office around lunchtime and boy, that TRENT XWB is powerful!

there was a strong discussion about this model. but eventually i got the IF version.

i think there was many alterations made to the plane until the model was release. therefore we might be discussing about the different phrase of design for this plane.

Is there some marking, like a tick in front of Door 1L? Or is it reflection?

It is not a reflection. I wondered the same thing, but after doing some research online, there are some photos of the actual aircraft with that marking.

There does look like there is a 'blotch' just above the 'Airbus' title and the bottom of the cockpit window. Maybe a pitot tube or static port, but that is the wrong area for either of those.

I remember all of that. There was no clear winner but it sure caused some sore feelings, if I remember correctly.

Anyhow, after seeing a few more of these, the IF version seems to appeal to me -- a lot -- niggles or not. (Nobody would believe me if I outlined ALL the things I had to 'fix' on my brand-new Gemini AF 777-228ER when I got it.)

Ahhh I see, now that I noticed it. I know after that there weren't any of these markings,, perhaps painted off.

although not perfect (eg. the window before the first red windows are suppose to be white) i am contented with this. maybe some people does not like those markings. but i am ok with it.

I have this one as well. I asked for the JC wings version of this model for xmas and someone got me the inflight one instead. Overall I can't complain about the model, although I am not a huge fan of the stand. I prefer the Gemini/JC wings stands.

As long as it's the same as the 1:1, anything is ok.

the fact is that those markings are gone a few months after the initial design. does not know if there was an engine change.

There might be, or those markings are for other specific reasons such as flight testing or data collection.

liked the markings. it seems that it is only seen on the right side of the plane.

I like my IF model of this a/c. I like the stand a lot less. Does not stand very evenly.
