My 747 fleet seems to be growing, and i never planned it as i was going to stick to DC-10 and 9 's only..... Oow well.
Here is my too hot washed 747.

Very nice arrival and I must agree. Inflight did a nice job with both the SAA and Panam.
I went for the SAA SP instead of the Panam. It was not an easy choice I can tell you but I could not resist the SP I actually did saw @ Schiphol while I've never seen the Panam SP.

WOW that's great! Congrats with your SAA purchase! You will love the big orange tail and polished belly.

Looking forward to see the photos.

I'm trying not to think about the Panam too much.

Will pick it up tomorrow :-) only one more left at LHS.
Happy i was ontime

I also remember her big orange tail sticking out above the blast fence barrier at the Old F gate i believe. Fond childhood days.
One of the reasons i collect , as a monument to my own youth .
Many of my models take me back to those happy days

Fantastic! Same here.
The tails sticking out while driving by Schiphol on our way to visit grandma and grandpa. I fell in love with the T-tails (Il76 at the romeo apron) and DC-10's at the old F-gate (CPAir). I also remember the Korean SP or Varig 747 o/c An amazing sight it was. Or a few years later when I saw them passing by when I was standing at the panorama terrace. So many nice planes to see back than. (Russian )

Good old 80's and 90's........

Thanks

Same experiences here , i also always went to see the propliners behind the old schiphol building were now the bagage system houses.
The Dan Air HS748's or the BMI F-27 .

And yeah the big orange tail of the CP air DC-10 or 747.
Even the Braniff 747 i remember.
Good old EHAM. Nothing left of that now .

I have all 747-SP's models released in none of them have cockpit windows like that. With regards to the last cockpit window it's a lot off perpendicular looks like a back hand angel of printing is off shape a little.

Yeah i am sure there is something wrong with all models produced.
I am a nitpicker by nature but for some models i am more forgiving than other.

The last window on your model is to small also and wrong shaped.
generaly there is something wrong with them :-P

I have heard these new SPs are from new tooling. Previous one was shared by IF, JC and GJ.
