Default Inflight Pan Am Cargo 747

I am stoked as tomorrow i will recieve my inflight 1/200 Pan Am Cargo N903PA.
But i am also curiious to see if they did it correct.

Looking at pictures of the real thing it seems it has white parts of metal where it is says Pan Am.

However on the preview pictures of the model it looks like grey rather than white.

Let's see (Not many pictures around of the original by the way???)

I wonder if Inflight took in account that this side of the plane was partialy white.
Or is it?? It looks also like a different metal that just reflects differently.

Does anybody know ? There are only about 4 pics of this livery on the whole web?

I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of the real model, as well. Judging by the pre-release ones, the model is mostly polished, with some areas of flatter light grey finish. I understood that this aircraft N903PA was ex-Flying Tigers, hence the different finish on parts of the fuselage, where the FT livery was removed, and the Pan Am livery was added. You are right, few if any photos of this actual aircraft seem to exist on the Net. When you get your model, please post some close up, detailed pictures, as mine is still inbound.

Here is a picture of the real thing it seems the area under the Pan Am letters is white. I doubt the inflight model will have that detail i am afraid. i will see tomorrow.

There were no white area's on the fuselage. What you see on the photo of the real thing is the reflection of the sun which makes it looks white.

Inflight painted these ex FT area's silver/gray.

The model is correct.

So Patrick,we are talking about a different freighter? Not the one you bought from me like 3 years ago? Disregard, obviously completely different. And one more I need to get.

The "Flying Tigers" paint over is really obvious. I like models like that. I have a 400 scale B747 that is a Tigers hybrid with an El Al tail.

Hi David, yes this is a new release. I have two of the original IF200 Pan Am Cargos, one of which was purchased from you.
