Exclamation WestJet 737-800?

Hey guys!

Does anyone know where I can get a WestJet 737-800 is 1/200? I've been looking for one in a while. I know GJ did a 1/200 once, but I asked my retailer and they said they couldn't get it anymore. So if anyone knows where I can pick one up please let me know!

Thanks!

I used to have one, got it from a great person who is a member of this forum, then I went and sold it to another great member of this forum

It is an expensive model, so be prepared to pay the $$

Does anyone else know if there's a WestJet 738 out there?

Your best bet is to watch eBay or post in the for sale section of the forum that you are looking to buy one.

FYI - I had been looking for it for over a year and jumped when Leslie put hers up. It is one of a half dozen or so that I want[ed] that rarely show up. Those rare ones make collecting fun because they don't just show up with one post. As for the others - no joy yet.

It doesn't hurt to check retailers say in the UK for example. Westjet is obviously popular here, but maybe not so much across the pond. Don't give up the search. Check my signature in Blue.I have been looking for it for over five years.

Hi Guys!
I have this model. It's brand new. Box has very light shelfware. But will only trade for the JC Wings China Southern Airbus A380-800 in 1:200 if you will. PM if you have it.

I have several years of collecting experience. Patience. The ANA R2-D2 is a prime example. Early in the New Year I suspect they will be around. At a sensible 200 scale price.

Not certain if this helps, but Gemini Jets 1:200 WestJet 737-700's are still available; having been released in 2014, just over a year ago. I often find that if the right aircraft and right livery is there, the difference between a -700 and -800 version of the aircraft doesn't bother me too much. If you really must have a WestJet 738, yes, you'll probably need to search the resale market - or wait until a re-release. Meanwhile, I can tell you the Gemini Westjet 737-700 is one of my favorites. It's a beauty!

I bet Gemini will release a -800 with the new logo and split scimitar winglets.

I can't figure out why the 200 scale -700 is all over the place. Good luck finding the -800 in 200 scale. Less made?

Maybe because WestJet has more -700 than -800, so that's why I guess manufacturers don't make the -800 as much.

That will be nice! I would get that before anyone else could!

I have that exact same -700 model you have. Bought it about two months ago. I hope they could re-release them in January...
