A trip to ARD a few weeks back resulted in me finding this beauty hidden away, it had just arrived from a collection in the states along with some other older 1/200 models. One was the Inflight 200 British Airways 747-400 Landor but it sadly was covered in the usual paint cracks. Anyway here's the new arrival - Aviation 200 Delta 747-400 - got her for £125 & no postage

Seriously great find, amazing something like that was just hidden away. Its quite a sought after model, and that's a pretty good price too.
Reminds me of that fellow that picked up an original IF200 Pan Am Billboard 747, which had been gathering dust at a retailer for years, for a very low price. It gives one hope that eventually even those "Holy Grail" models will eventually turn up.
Thanks all, I have had some great finds in ARD in the past including the Inflight 200 TWA Twin Globe L-1011 and Inflight 200 Braniff Ultra Brown DC-8 - both for normal retail price too. Personally I'm not a huge fan of models being re-realised on the scale they currently are being released at. If the model has a visual change such as polished bottom then I don't mind but even still I don't think you can beat original Inflight 747's - they were superb!
