1st Choice 1/200 ground foils - a year 2000 sceen

Well Vandan has set the bar real high so there is no way am able to do as good. Let's go back 15 years ago to 19th of September 2000. The Sydney Olympic Games where declared open. Ansett Airlines where the official games airlines, and Qantas still had it's two 747sp's. Qantas had it's first low cost carrier Australian Airlines. Wow does time fly fast.

Thanks Willy can do. Makes for an interesting table cloth hey. Spring is here so it's time for a BBQ if all the team want to come over.

Steve, wow, really well done. The foils look very nice, the taxiway is a little small. Will you build a terminal with it? maybe you need some airfield lightings and the jetways you have already, then it would be a nice diorama for taking picture.

I have had these 1st Choice ground foils for a few years now. They are rolled up in the original cardboard cylinder and never seen the light of day.
Yes the taxi ways are small I agree with you on that one. I have a thought of building Qantas Hanger 96 plus gate 1 of Qantas terminal T2 for doing anything bigger would take up too much space. Thanks for the tips. I should have taken more close ups of the Ansett's. The Ansett 737-3 is a custom made by Hu of the Sydney Olympic Games mascots
