Default IF200 Air Force One...Sample Pictures!!!!

Just thought you good people would like to see photos from the first Air Force One produced, keep in mind this is a SAMPLE and not the final product, a few details being added later.
But so far, I like what I see....chrome plated parts, and lots of antenas! I hope they glue them well, its a sweet model! Oh, and of course, highly polished, I think the President himself will want a couple of these!
Enjoy!

Cool detail he?!?

Cool detail? Looks unprofessional; like some sort of a drunk person drilled a hole with tools from the middle age.
The rest of the model looks really good so far.

Hello retroguy, thank you for the sharing, definitely sensational with this new AF1.

Key questions will be:

Firstly, will IF move no2 and no3 engine to the correct position?
Secondly, will the final AF1 not print or outline all the pax doors?
Lastly, will IF lower the window line?

I know this is a sample but these are pending questions that are unaddressed for many IF releases.......

I like this one better than the first release! It's coming together nicely I think. Thank you for the photos.

By chance did you get any photos of E-4B?

Hmmm, I have to pull out my 28000 and take look at it. I do like what I see on these pictures.

Don't think I can justify buying another AF1, but very nice! The chrome is a nice touch.

There should be patches on the trailing edges of the engine pylons. These were also missing on the original release. I think they are something to do with the anti-missile countermeasures.

Kudos on the addition of the horizontal stabilizer antenna though and also the improved APU area that includes anti-missile printing!

I like the chrome on the engine inlet rings, but on photos of the real thing, sometimes they're shiny and sometimes they're not. Must be the lighting.

During the POTUS' visit to Malaysia in Apr'14, the engine inlet rings weren't chrome. See the photos that I took below. They looked like the usual darker shade of grey on most CF6 engines. However, I would prefer the chrome inlet rings as those are among the VC-25's trademark.

While InFlight is at it (VC-25 mould improvement for added realism), can they also paint the NLG strut and wheel hub white, or maybe off-white or dusty white? The are certainly not silver.

Seriously loving the chromed engine details! I always loved AF1s shiney engine exhausts, although I never noticed the intake rings were also so reflective! I wonder how many man hours are spent cleaning and polishing those beasts!

So manufacturers can do chrome on engines! How long have we been asking for this? Back to the subject, it looks much better than my first copy of 28000. Great job Inflight thanks for posting Rui

Love the chrome engine inlets, but I see more pictures of the actual planes that are not chrome than pictures which are chrome.
Can anyone give some thoughts on this?

I've been looking a lot regarding this and from what I can see, it is 29000 without the chrome. However, I did find one photo of 29000 with chrome inlets and the photo was taken in 2010. I'm baffled!

Looking at Jetphotos, neither of the VC-25's have chrome engine inlets right now in 2015. In 2009/10 they both did.

Must be a tactic to confuse terrorists, haha!

Maybe the inlets were too hard to keep clean, so they are no longer chrome?
Regardless, I think I'm sold on this one. I already have the original 28000, so will have to get 29000 this time around!

The inlets where never chrome. They polish the aluminum inlet lip which isn't painted. When it's polished it shines like chrome. But over time and the elements of weather it turns dull and will need polished or buffed to make it shiney again. Just like AA's old nonpainted fuselage. Now regarding the model, It looks good. If the inlets are buffed and polished then the belly should be also. When we rolled planes with the old widget livery out of overhaul at Delta all the bare metal was buffed and polished. Look real good. But it doesn't stay that way for long.

As you are all aware, Rui did post this is a sample= pre-production model. A few final tweeks and I feel that Inflight200 are heading for their best,
most detailed model ever made in 1:200. I want one, with all 18 tyres touching the ground as my older Inflight models do.

I see.. So it may be a bit of the rake in the pre-orders kind of thing then.. No doubt most retailers do it.
