Default JFOX Prototype and Pepsi Concordes

Here are the latest two Concorde releases on the Hogan mold. I bought these on sight at ARD, both such lovely models - the prototype scheme is such a 60s classic, I'm really happy to have added this to my collection, and I was tempted at the pre-order stage, but waited until I saw one in the flesh. It definitely ticked all the boxes, as has the Pepsi version. I've since ordered the BA/Singapore bird as I'm so impressed with these models.

I checked the vertical stabilisers on both models and they are perfectly straight, at least on my examples.

Is the nose kinda dull? Doesn't seem as sharp with the hogan models

The Hogan mold … or its copy … with the Hogan agreement.

If you use an Hogan Concorde as a master model you can make another mold but the new model will be of a slightly less quality than the original one.
Parts such as the nose and the trailing edge may not be as crisp as the original.
Simply because in this kind of process a copy is rarely as good as the original.

Just speculation but technically, it is quite possible and could explain the nose.

To be honest, when I pulled the first model out, I thought I'd damaged the nose getting out the foam packaging, but checked the paint and all looked fine, when the second model came out and was the same, this confirmed it.
Still, I'm happy enough with them. My Air France and BA hogan models do have slightly sharper noses, still, I don't intend on their use as lethal weapons!

That is what these look like to me. I'm looking at my AF 'SB and everything about that model is crisp. Right down to the perfect alignment of wheels on a flat surface. And speaking of wheels, do these new ones have plastic tires? They sure looks like plastic to me.

Congrats! Your Concordes have vertical tail rudders. I've sent mine back...
