Question IF 200 747 antenna problems..??

Has anyone contacted Inflight 200 before about spare antennas..?? Could they provide you with spare antennas if you ask them..??

Many of my IF 200 747 models lost their antennas and are still losing antennas by moving them around from place to place, so I need to replace them with new antennas... Thx!

Thumbs down Re: IF 200 747 antenna problems..??

Well, lost antennas could happen (having in mind how rough the long trip to their final home base could be)

BUT was never should happen was that an antenna (it was the one from the rear fuselage top) gets out + the paint arround the hole comes came off, glued together with the antenna )

This happen to me on a JCWINGS B744 QANTAS "Red"

Never had this kind of problem with any IF200 B747's

Where are you located? If the US, you can contact your retailer, or Don at JetstreamsUSA.com as I believe they're the official distributor.

Or, just go to Welcome to the official Inflight200 Models Website and click on the 'Email Us' link at the bottom of the page and tell them what you need.

Have tried all (retailer, Don, Inflight) and everyone have been helpful!

Good luck!

If unsuccessful and for other models, aerials from Bees Models could be the solution.

I had this exact problem with the same exact model. Luckily the Wunulas were fine.

Well, about Inflight models, I have a couple of them with this issue too.

My PIA B743 has a missing hump antenna, while my Lufthansa B744 has a broken hump antenna. The root of the antenna remains inside the hole and I don't know how I can remove it.

The con with the Bee Models aerials is that they are thinner compared with Inflight's antenna. Bee models aerials are like a gross paper sheet thick when Inflight's is more like a credit card thickness.

I use Dremel mini drill, it's fine.

True, i already used an expired credit card to make a VHF antenna for one of my models, thickness is perfect, you don't see the difference.
Bees models aerials are excellent when you want to create something.

I have had new antennae sent to me for free from IF in HK after writing to them, twice in fact...wingtips for the Springbok SP and hull antennae for the KLM Cargo 744.
