Well, Howdy Oz!

It'd be nice if some American airline could see a way to honor American female aviators like Olive Beech, Oveta Culp Hobby, Sally Ride, Geraldine Mock or Patty Wagstaff.

What happened to naming airliners? I remember riding on the "Pee Dee Pacemaker"

I've never received a JC or Gemini A380 with this issue.

My GJ Lufthansa A380 has the floating nose gear issue, and only sits on 3 of the main gear... gave up trying to fix it and just keep it on its stand

Good question and I have to say I have never had that issue from my very first A380 pre magnetic gears "Love at First Flight" in the Airbus House colours. Exclusive release for the 9th Annual China Air show also the first GJQFA409 both since sold. Here are pictures of both JC's G'Day Texas Phyillis Arnott & GJ Sir Charles Kingsford Smith magnetic landing gears and no issues herehttp://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...pszsdehds2.jpg

Well what about the most female amazing aviators of all time. Amelia Earhart. Let's get serious now you left her off your list and she be at the top and she was up there doing her flying with the boys. As far I am concerned she should be at the very top early American achievements and never ever forgotten.

While the above list reveals all Australian pioneers in Aviation and achievement's I respect each and everyone of them, and I would like to draw your attention to "David Warren" Inventor of the back box & inflight recorder named above VH-OQI after a F27 TAA crash in the early sixties to assist in air crash investigation. Great achievement Mr David Warren. Did you guys know that? Love sharing a bit of history with you.

Thank you Willy. Unlike people that post wish list all the time, I do in fact post models that I have purchased. That is what this forum is about isn't. That's what I thought anyway

Yes David Warren! I read about his story through a petition to rename one of the airports in Australia after him(i forgot which), needless to say i signed the petition too! How many lives has he saved through this invention we may never know, a truly unsung hero! :D:D

Well Chris,
I am kind of leaning towards........... happy:D. Well done mate its not one to miss IMO. You will also see the Tail rego's repeated near the APU on both JC's A380's & GJ release also, that is, if you have the latest GJ Charles Kingsford Smith copy, have a look. Details are amazing. In fact both models are so good I cant fault them at all. Glad I purchased them!

The airport you are referring to is a brand new airport due to start construction next year in 2016 as Sydney's 2nd Airport as a 24 hour operation in a suburb called Badgery's Creek. (hopefully the airport is named appropriately with an aviation devoted person). David Warren's two inventions do not save lives. They only help investigators find out what happened and why it happened - human or mechanical error. On this Wikipedia link this is why David Warren invented the Black box & cockpit voice recorder after the F27 TAA crash

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans_...nes_Flight_538

Also note from the above link
Long-term aftermath

Australia became the first country to mandate the carriage of Cockpit Voice Recorders on Civil Transport aircraft,[citation needed] a trend which was later followed by other countries. Today, all large civil transport aircraft are required to carry a CVR.
