I just mentioned a week or so ago in another thread, the only 777 I'd ever consider buying a model of is the World Tour. Dang it!

I wonder if any other manufacturer is also planning to release the two Finnair A350s. A350s are popular subjects according to the past releases.

Hmmmm, some great lookers here, but alas, nothing for me. A good rest for my smoking wallet is required so this is a relief! With limitless funds and display room, the world liner 777 and the SQ 743 would be my picks. I'll hand over to Modestos!

Fantastic! The tiger Transaero will be mine! First 747 in my Russia/Sovjet cabinet.

I'm pretty sure JCW will not do this.

Also now listed on Airspotters.com now as we are mentioning retailers here Robert lol. I just wish we could have pictures instead of these drawings if Gemini and others can do it why cant Inflight 200. Would make a big difference to the sales I am sure in a postive way for all retailers. I would never buy from a drawing i need to see the model even if it a pre-production model.

point is, inflight have NOT produced these yet. so obviously no proper pics yet. whereas Gemini's are already MADE mostly, so have actual pics!

It's because IF announce their models so far in advance they haven't even produced a pre production model to photograph when they announce them. In fact the number of models due from IF is quite ridiculous when you look at the full list.

100% agree. I am still waiting for IF200 models that I pre-ordered last fall!

I think they should focus more on producing the models they have already promised us, before they continue promising additional ones.

Exactly the reason I`m not getting too excited at this point.
6 months to a year between announcement and actual release is too long.
I will however be looking for these to start showing up in HK and will most likely get the 77Ws unless JC beats them to it which they will most likely do.

IF
You really are shooting yourself in the foot with the release lag
You should consider a realistic monthly release schedule and stick to it as much as possible as it will help sales.

I was at ARD today and saw the IF200 Iraqi 747-200 (not to be confused with the new 744) and cannot seem to find it anywhere else. Have I missed something?

Me too..... I ordered the United Saul Bass 747-100 in November.....still not arrived.

They announce way in advance where Gemini waits until the models have left the factory. I kinda appreciate that, hate the waiting.

Really, I got the United a couple of weeks ago from this side of the Pacific. Should be hitting your retailers soon.

So far, I have only 1 747 waiting from IF and it is the JAL BBOXJAL0414P JA8124. Was ordered back on 3/7/2014. Come to think of it, I don't know if this is IF or JCs release due to the confusing codes they use.

Two 747SPs...the Air Namibia and Yemenia...an AA A350 flaps down and that's it.

Honestly, it looks like IF has been releasing their releases announced this year on schedule as evident by the number of 747s already available via Rui's posts. Not sure what is happening with the SPs, where the mould is, etc. But we have seen the Albatross T7 released by IF but cast using JCs mould, maybe (and pure speculation) the previous releases are stuck somewhere and waiting to be finished at the IFs new factory? The Boeing 777-200 Rollout colors was just released and it was announced at the same time as the SPs.

That's the #1 model I've been waiting for. I pre-ordered it the day it was announced. I believe that was around Halloween last year. And still no sign of it. Still waiting. Its really one of my Holy Grail models, I wish it would finally get here.

The funny thing is, I have received models that were announced subsequent to the Saul Bass UA 747.

Which JAL bird is this? The only JAL 747 I've seen for new release is the Super Logistics freighter version (which does look the business)!

Japan Airlines 747SR-46 JA8124

Announced on March 7, 2014.

I'm kind of wondering if I got this already, but forgot to remove it from my order list.

Inflight200 - New Releases

One side note! It's missing the nose and side door.
A reason for me to leave it on the shelve. There is enough coming out lately.

Moin, try searching the Net using the item number, HAIF742002. It appears to be available from Aviation Center Berlin and various auctions on evilBay.

He means the outline for the nose cargo loading door and rear side cargo door (SCD). This model 747 was a 270C (Convertible) which was a 3 in 1 type and could be operated either in all pax, combi or full freighter versions.

Thanks Moin.

I indeed meant the missing outline for the cargo nose and side door on the model.

For todays standards I think it's a shame they forgot or missed it.

Well, they just make the seats occupied, if other manufacturer do the same model, is what they called "copycat".
