Default About the new IF200 777-300ER's...

What do you think of the mold? From what I have seen the engines are more accurate than the JC and Gemini Molds.

One last question, do JC and Gemini share a 777-300ER mold?

Bro
You really need to do a thread search for this subject as it has been covered in minute detail.
I happen to like it myself and ordered the KLM just this morning.

I think the InFlight new 777-300ER mold was pretty good, but had some problems. IF has committed to making some changes to the next release on the mold which should be the KLM 'twins' and should make the IF mold at least competitive with the JCW/Gemini mold. (yes, GJ uses the JCW mold for their 777s). LOTS has been posted in Retroguy's IF Garuda and TAM 777-300ER threads.

And I agree, the IF engines look to me like they are more accurate in shape and size than the JCW engines, but the pylons are not as accurate (IF may redesign the engine pylons too on their next release). But remember, JCW is planning another revision to their GE-90-115B1 engines too, so that could change.

I think both InFlight and JCW/Gemini are holding off releasing any more 777-300ERs until the changes to each of their molds can be made.

If only IF200 would revamp their 747 mould to eliminate the wing root gap issue...
