You always seem to amaze me with your awesome pictures Vandan!

By the way I love that mini airport you build in the background...

Another awesome set mate, you've certainly got an enviable collection, I seriously like those mobile construction cranes on your back wall too!
I've always fancied the F1 livery too, never had a chance to buy it, pretty rare now! Maybe I'll hunt one down one day.

Nice pictures Vandan as usual! Now you can get OJU in it's previous livery to the Boxing Kangaroo, which is Oneworld new JC September 2015 special release

Hi Vandan, sure the Qantas Wunala OJB and OEJ would be on your photo lists very soon and the Nalanji not too far behind. Your photos are the best of the best. Thanks your effort....

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I have a model airport 1:500 but I've built a few boards for scale 1/200, as runway, apron, taxiway etc ... with or without LED, just for taking pictures, I do not have free space for airport model 1: 200

Here is my airport model in scale 1/500:

A pity you want to sell the model, it is very nice model! but you're right, too much B747's in a short time, it's really very difficult time for Boeing 747 lovers.

I do not know whether to laugh or mourn after seeing the pictures of your models.

How much money have you spent on all your accessories? I'm talking about Preiser minifigures, the Herpa cars, the carpet and other 1:200 stuff. Not to mention the 1:500 investment, your pictures are mind-blowing.

AWE$$$$$OME!!

I really wish my Husband shared the love for these models like my Daughter and I do. Our basement would become an Airport and not a storage facility

Working on a 1:200 section of runway at the moment. Hardest thing ive found is getting a decent background photo of Auckland airport. Had to get a friend take some and email to me in the UK. Not easy. Wish now id started collecting 1:400 as it would be alot easier.

Thanks. Happily my wife is really lovely, she doesn't mind, I've been stored fully the aircraft models in the basement and in this room .

No, the opposite, I work full-time, have a wife, 2 small children (8 and 9), I fit also my children in the evening, to do their homeworks , I've a large garden (it is always so much to do), I play soccer constantly twice a week. The problem only, I don't have time to sleep .

I am very pleased to hear that, for me it's a good decision. You can also sell it later when you don't like it any more.

It is not easy to build a airport model for 1:200, the problem is, you need have a very big room. For 1: 400 would be much easier, I've built a few models for Airport 1: 400 and also 1: 500. If you finish with your new runway, please share it with us! thank you, i'm looking forward!

@ Vandan you have a wife & she lets you build an airport at your house, what the hell ???? She must be very sweet & understanding then...

If I did this at my place my wife would have put everything in the trash & kicked me out as well..

No, i think, your wife says it only, but she will not do it.
My wife is awfully nice, she also knows how much money I spend monthly for the models, but fortunately, she says nothing about it, otherwise I would have a lot of problems If she doesn't understand about my passion and my hobby.
