Default Western DC-10-10 inflight error

Well i am not sure but the Reg.Nr of this plane does not match the Nose door number. Looks like a whoops!

And it is not just on this pre production picture.
Just received mine today and it has same error.

N912WA

Nose door 910?

Nice model. Thanks for the pics. I just wish Inflight had made the #1 and #3 engines smaller on their DC-10s.

The engines seem fine to me, keep in mind the Diesel 10 had large engines for the time period.. The MD-11 had much smaller more fuel efficient GE engines I believe..

Nice model, but I would have prefered a white Western DC-10-10 model with DC-10 Spaceship titles underneath the cockpit. Flew on those many times LAX-MEX.

No worries. I didn't think this one would be released until August-September. How did you get it so fast?

Here it is still in stock

DC10-10 (Western Airlines) N912WA Polished - AviationMegastore.com

What i really like is that the polished parts look very real , and not a perfect mirror shine. With the lights in the right place you really get that crazing effect on the fuse

Wow, she really is striking! I wasn't sure about adding this to my collection from the preproduction view, but after seeing your photos, it's a must for me. Thanks for posting and great job InFlight. I look forward to adding her to my fleet.

The nose and cockpit windows are especially good on this one.

Hey Bearke

The heat is ok , i tought it would be much worse.
But than again i m closer to the coast than you lol.

I have a Hasegawa DC-10 1/200 model.
And putting the engines together the inflights are slightly bigger.
But really slightly

Totally agree. I received my American DC-10-10 yesterday and looks just as good as this. Much better than the -30 release last year. Side by side you can really appreciate this subtle change.

I wasn't terribly pleased with the cockpit windows on the American -30, so that's good to hear.
