is THIS the new JC mould?

it does differ from the HG mould (antenna and different cockpit window shape)
or is it a pimped HG made under the IF200 brand name...?

Not a fan of the Pepsi livery. I think I'll wait and see what JCW does with their new Concorde mold. From the prototype pics, it looks like it will be a GREAT model.

Same here, I would rather drink Coca-cola anytime of the day!

But I do like the bright blue though, it sure looks better than the boring white colours of Air France..

The one thing I don't like are the cockpit windows. No dividing line between the pains of glass. Other than that, looks very nice. Someone beat JC Wings to market.

Wonder why the cockpit windows are ok on other models but not this one. Maybe I just don't see the lines.

Neither am I. Too far garish -- I much prefer the refined elegance of the AF livery, so my existing Sierra-Delta will just have to do for me.

That said, I am vaguely curious to see what JCW will cough up.

Can't pass on an AF model ;-) ...

For the JC Wings Concorde I'd rather see two nose versions done like with the flaps, up or down.

Regarding the cockpit window dividing lines:

If you zoom in on the pics using "Crtl +" you'll see that they're there, in blue color. The blue is just hard to see on the black underground.

Hogan model is very nice but I am waiting for the JC Wings mould which might be very good and even better.

Concorde wearing AF/BA livery (F-WTSA during cold tests at Fairbanks) and Singapore/BA livery (G-BOAD during joint service between London and Singapore via Bahrein) will be fine.

Long time ago, I asked Socatec to do that but had no reply.

I don't want to offend you, but there is no flaps on the Concorde, just "elevons".

Think he is just saying he would like to see two versions done by JC....one with the nose cone down like on the ground, and one up as in flight. The flaps up/down is just comparing the nose cone to the IF flaps up/down version of their A350.

Having said that, how difficult could it be to make the cone moveable at such a small scale?

I don't want to offend you, but the Concorde flew with the nose cone down. It was at 5 degrees for taxi and take off and it was at 12.5 degrees for landing or taxi. So yes, an accurately scaled model in 1/200 with these display capabilities would be pretty awesome.. as long as a nice stand was included! As for 'flaps down' on a Concorde model.. What flaps?!

The Herpa TU 144 has a moveable nose, so i'm sure JC could do that with their Concorde mold.

Just a side note.
I think the popularity of this model could justify a market research for the Concordes 001 and 002.

The ones we really would like to have are the prototypes 001 F-WTSS and 002 G-BSST.
Noses and tail cones were different.
The F-WTSA was the 02, pre production aircraft.
I did not expect this red cheat line but it is a step in the right direction.

Neither livery is exactly my cup of tea. Besides, with JCW's recent beautiful releases, I think I will wait for their Concorde. I'm sure it will be a winner too.

Yes Robert, but I'm not sure this race to be the first and release a model before a competitor is good for us.

Again i would like to see a picture of the Pepsi from underneath.

Waiting for JC Wings.
