Default 1:200 A330 mould from Phoenix

ALCON,

For those in the know, is PHX using JC Wings A330 mould or a new one they are creating? The GJ/JC hybrid? I ask as they are putting out a CX A330 in 1:200 scale soon and I'd like to snag one if the mould is of decent quality.

Regards,

Cliff

Since I have got the CX and KA in golden dragon livery. I would like to have KA in standard livery.

I'm guessing its a new mould for Phoenix. But, not sure as they have not released one yet.

It would be interesting to check the "ground clearance" and the wing flex, the JC Wings A 330s and 340s being too high on their feet.
It's the reason why I didn't buy these models.
The Hogan models were fine.

Jean Pierre.

Hi Cliff,

Phoenix has their own a330-200 mold and released the Gulf Air last month.
My guess is that this a330-300 is the next new mold from Eagle/Phoenix

They have the wrong wing root and aft body fairing, the wing root looks like the old version of GJ/JC, it was a hot topic when GJ released their first A330, I don't understand why PHX still missed this.

Because it's Phoenix....they don't usually pay much attention to small details. Although, I don't think the model looks that bad.
