An amazing model that has been put to rest too soon, as with so many other models forgotten by their makers.
Even with all the bashing at the time, as I recall, I would still buy a few more if they had continued with more liveries, like Niugini or Eastern Airlines, to mention a couple.
That wing root gap never bothered me, either, and this is the only example I have ;

Its a shame they dont make more of them....

It's a nice model but the missing upwards curve in the rear section stopped me from buying one.

Could have been such a good model.

There is a slight upward slope.

I got the Herpa-Premium version "Stade" and I've always loved the A300 but I'm just wondering if it's just me or do the grey lower section of the fusselage looks a few shades darker than the real thing? Just curious.

I'm not sure, i will look out for Lufthansa going into Heathrow.
My pics though are taken on my phone and do seem a bit darker than the actual model.

The side profile looks not so good to me, just my own opinion.

These two are also beautiful, and there is the polished metal AA too.
The JAS is still a favorite of mine, maybe because it looks so much as the original Airbus House Colours!
Lovely scheme!

Some nice models here, thanks for sharing, I remember flying on a couple of LH A300s on short hops from FRA to LHR a few years back. I've never really thought about an A300 model. Looking through there are some lovely models have been released, loving that JAS bird, I might have to look for one when there is a quiet period in the release department....personally, I like the look of IFs Thai Airways version:

I have been waiting forever for a re-tool of this mold without that ugly seam on the belly. What a waste!
