I got one too... a very nicely made model, if you can just live with the seam lines...

Hi

I got this along with the Olympic 737-200. I hate the darn seem but in my display glass case, because it is positioned at an angle the seem seems to dissappeared. I got this for 60.00 USD and I wish I had gotten the A300 Thai at the same time too. DP

One of my all time favourite liveries. Like 727, I do prefer the original dark blue, but hey, it's Olympic, so it gets my vote.

Thumbs up Re: If200 OLYMPIC A300-600R.....

Personally, I like the mould, just not into the livery. If this was ever done up in AF colours, not only would I buy it in a New York minute, but I think there may be a way to severely lessen those seams so they really recede.

Anyhow, the only thing missing is a healthy application of 'Gemini ultra-stencil detailing', eh?

Yeah -- nice looking model, for sure. (That's my bashing on this one! )

More like an ex-Lufthansa A300B4.

It's an ex-LH A300B2-1C actually... You can still recognize the black Lufthansa-radome on the aircraft. After four years with Lufthansa in the early 1980s it was taken over by Airbus and leased to Olympic (note the French registration). The plane ended its flying-career with Air Inter.

Very nice photos. I actually think it's the photos members take of their models that actually sell the models. there are models I had no intention of buying but once I had seen the photos I went out to buy them.

By the way, (I must be blind) where is the seem that is mentioned?

Cool! I'd like a 747 version, then I could play Executive Decision!
