Default Herpa Lufthansa Cargo B747-230FSCD

This is an old model made by herpa some time ago, that I have been trying to find for some time, and I have not seen any available for sale, but one at last appeared on ebay, so I bid and was lucky, and won it, and it arrived today, its a lovely looking model and complements the rest of my LUFTHANSA fleet, it has the old metal wheels, witch I will modify to rubber tyres, the aircraft its self is a LUFTHANSA CARGO B747-230FSCD reg D-ABZF and is in the "Time-Service-Revolution" Colors and named "Africa", hopefully in the future now the various companies are reviving some of the 747's they will do this one.

LUFTHANSA B747-239FSCD D-ABZF

Congratulations! The time-zone-design on this aircraft was a very nice idea. I wish "Herpa" had also released this model in the 1970s Lufthansa-Cargo livery.

Nice at the first look but the wings and engines belong to B 744.
I have the same model and changed the wings of the Hogan 742 UTA (old GE engines, hardly to get)
