Default My first A380 and 757-300!

Today I received a lovely package from Nick @jetwaymodels.com - arrived incredibly fast, and great service as usual.

Here are some pics of this massive yet beautiful Thai A380, and the UAL 757-300. The Aeromexico 767 is also new, but just received recently.

I wouldn't call the A380 beautiful but damn does it look good in Thai colours. I love the 757 and I'm getting my first one as well next week, AA 757-200 by Gemini.

Nice diorama, wish I could a room like yours.

Thai's livery is very cool, I love that metallic purple tail fin. About the B757-300, I'll be waiting for Condor's flying pencil.

Greetings!

The A380's don't have a "metallic" paint on their tails... just pure purple

The A380 is somewhat ugly, but I also like it very much!

Thanks Erik! I am lucky to have a good amount of space, although the Detolf's are pretty full now!

Thanks! Yep I made the "ground foil". I had a large baseboard in the house, and the tarmac lines are actually engraved with a large knife. It was really hard and long to do, but turned out pretty good. Some errors can be seen but not too bad.
I didn't think the A380 would fit on my airport, which is why I haven't bought one yet (until now). Turns out it can occupy 2 of the 3 heavy gates depending on what other heavies are there.

Indeed! I think the 757 mould has improved and nearly nothing wrong with it.

Same here, it is definitely the best and most filling looking A380 out there.

Yes, none of the newly painted aircraft have it. THAI discontinued the metallic effect because it was too costly. I thought at first Gemini got the colour too light.

The purple is not metallic on the model either. Only the gold strip just a bit. But the purple is not.

I will post a photo tonight, but basically I took the hydraulics piece from 1 truck and merged it with another truck.
