Default Main landing gear doors on B747s

Just curious why JC B747 has a completely different gear doors to the INflight and Herpa B747s. Which one is more accurate?

I think JC wings' landing gear are more accurate comparing to Inflight200, but if JC wings can add Herpa Premium's suspension system, that will be insane!

I am referring to the doors that do not open to the angle toward the front that is supposed to on a B747. If you enlarge the photos you know what I mean.

jeeesus! Whats wrong with that gear door on the JC model??, it looks like a piece of chewing gum, sorry man ,it does! Its a piece of warped plastic, without any definition. Are they all like that?! Herpa Premium and Inflight( which is a direct copy of the Premiums) are at least correctly shaped.
Others will say different, its a free ( diecast) world!

I think JCW's rims are better, but they need some improvements on landing gear doors, suspension( paint it chrome) and finally the quality of them.

Oops! I didn't see main landing gear "DOORS", that's why my answer acts like an idiot... In my opinion, all of them seemed to be inaccurate...

Like what I said, none of them is correct, look from the front or aft, the IF one is too far away from the bogie, you may not know how many head injuries occured on 747s every year during #1 and #14 wheel change, just because this door is too close to the wheels

For my Mk 1 eyeballs, Herpa is the most accurate.

Check my illustration above, all we need is less than 1mm adjustment on JCW, if you look at IF's 747, the entire slope at the nose is wrong.
I can't see anything wrong with the gears and tires, they are in correct size.
In this thread you say none of them is correct but here's your quote on JCW's 747.

I think JCW needs to do 2 things with their new 747-400 mold.

-revise the landing gear. Put in some tab to keep the gear in place like on their 777 mold , or add stronger magnets, or both. And get a better mold for the main wing landing gear doors.

-revise the cockpit windows and brow so they don't curve back at such a steep angle.

I think, however, these 2 issues are minor enough that nothing will be done about them. No model is perfect, and because neither of these issues hits any hot buttons for me, I will continue to buy their new 747 mold as is.

The cockpit not likely can be done on the MAS or Qantas

I only hope that when the Air China and Sunrise Boeing 747-8 comes these issues can be fixed, please.

Im with you Dean, I also want those models, and fingers crossed they make them with decent looking gears.
Otherwise make them with the curved wings, so we can display them in-flight!
