Unhappy Fixing a Damaged Model?

I just received a Gemini 200 U.S. Airways Cardinals A319 with a dettached tail and right engine. The foam inside didn't even have a slot for the tail which leads to believe it was either poorly packaged at the factory or that it's been incorrectly repackaged. I'm attempting to send it back for an exchange or a refund, but failing that, how easy is it to fix?

if the option to return it for an exchagewith your retailer/person is there, thats your best option.
if not, use some glue in small quatities, hold the parts firmly to area that it will be glued/attached, and done. It is usually an easy and frustration free fix

good luck!

Just a little glue does the trick, I've had to do it a bunch of times before. Just make sure not to put too much glue which will spread when you try to attach to pieces together.

There's minor paint chipping on the tail and I feel that would ultimately bother me. I've emailed the retailer and have not, as of yet, heard back. I only emailed them today, mind you.

Some glue would have been enough, but hearing about that paint chip problem i hope your problems can be resolved by your retailer. Must have been a real bummer to see this when opening a package!
