Default Four New Gemini Arrivals

Hi Guy's Picked these up this morning, my January Gemini Jets Order, four more superb models, three DELTA AiR Lines witch will join my fleet, and Another A380-800, the three DELTA models consist the CONVAIR CV-880 reg N8802E, in the widget livery, the new mould B757-300WL reg N584NW, in the "2000's" colors, And the B767-300WL N178DN also in the "2000's" livery, NOTE both the B767WL & B757WL, have the delta printed under the fuselage in white, the last one is the latest A380-800 in the livery of THAI reg HS-TUF, the move is none metallic, witch I believe is correct, unlike the Phoenix version.

I recieved my Delta 76W and 753 yesterday... two lovely models although not a fan of the new packaging the 753 came in as the model had the right wing detached I suspect due to the new packaging, no damage that a spot of super glue couldnt fix, but nonetheless, not how you want to find a new model...

Also not a big fan of the main landing gear on some of the new Gemini models...

That Delta convair looks lovely tho, i havent purchased it as not my criteria

Thanks Stevec for posting. Much appreciated.

Do you guys think the new Delta 767 release is better/on par with the original (no WL) one?

Considering getting the new one and wondering if there is much of a difference (apart from the WL and the DELTA on the bottom) between the releases.

Thanks & kind regards

Markus

Hi Markus only real difference is the winglets, and as you say the delta printed under the fuselage.

I just got the 757-300 and have to agree, it is a really nice model.

The stand is another story. I can't get my model to stay on the stand. It falls right off.

Looks like they gave the Delta 757 Pratt and Whitneys while the AA version came with RR's.

I think all Delta 757's are equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines. The -300's cane from Nothwest and were also equipped with the P&W engines.

You're right, i never noticed that. Wonder why they chose only this engine.

Airlines like to have the same engine types. Makes it easier for maintenance.

That Delta 767 is looking great. Better with all the side angles. I like it.

Look fantastic! Thanks for the pictures. I am planning on picking up the 767, as its been on my list for a while, but am still undecided on the 757-300.

Your pictures make the -300 look better here than the preview pics posted by Gemini. I know it's a long, thin aircraft, but the Gemini pics seem to make it look disproportionately long IMO.

Gemini 757's are nice but i have an issue with the front gear...there is too much lean on the front gear and I believe it has something to do with how they moulded the side shaft in the fuselage for the gear to go into and this is prevalant on all the 757's looks like the gear is going to bend backwards. On the 767 gemini can get the cockpit windows right 50pct of the time, on the delta 767-300W it looks twisted upwards rather than wrapped around uniformly. This has been an issue with some of gemini 200 and jc wings 767-300/200 releases. I also wish the 757's had a more heavy feel to them than the aluminum they currently use. I like the weight and feel of the 767's though.

Nice arrivals. I'd like to see someone do a side by side comparison of the two Delta 767 releases.

Ditto. the new 753 box could easily have been the same as the 767-sized box and the latest 757 wheels are just the worst in cost cutting... It's not like the prices are aren't higher.... alas we do still buy them though don't we?

The new one with winglets, does have a lighter shade of red, witch I think looks better.

Hi Todd the new models are printed with the Delta logo in white under the fuselage, similar, to virgin, & Emerates, I have seen a DELTA B737 with this on maybe its something they have started when repainting the aircraft.

I REALLY dislike the new undercarriage on the Gemini 757s: both my Delta and AA have twisted bogies and wheels unaligned...rest of the model is beautiful.

Thanks! I looks like the new version has my vote. I feel like the older one's cockpit windows are a little high. Anyone else think so?
