I like the Herc, although a gunship version interests me more.

As for the -130, a U-Boat first please:

Then if you really want to outdo yourselves, you can follow the U model with the H and Whiskey models.

Hercules - IMPO no need for all the doors..

Propellers should be razor sharp and one piece with spinner - that looks more like an AC 1/400 Viscount and much more noticeable in 1/200..

Agreed. They are probably tooled that way so they can swap from the 4-bladed prop to a 3-bladed prop for early versions, or 6-bladed props for the J model.

It also has to be the cheapest/most practical way of creating moveable propellors where there are not detachable nacelles - the only other option here would be a securing ring behind a spinner would be a step too far...?

The Herpa has separate front cowlings...

But I will keep an open mind until seeing / holding one in my hands.

Also ... Agree about the many versions of special Hercs ... Ski bird (yes) ... How about a "Spooky" version ... Many others possible

Wow. Mr Retroguy you have been ruffling the feathers around here lately haven't you. .
As for the Concorde. I guess Ill be getting my first one since it will have the moveable nose. That's if the final model looks good. As for final model. Long shot here, when can we expect the Concorde to be out.?

I have tuned the Concorde Livery survey up based on the 15 [thanks all] replies and comments. Please do it again to reflect the changes made and as soon as the inputs dry up, I will post the complete results here. The test showed Pepsi and BA Landor as the front runners.

Thank you Bill.

There was an other livery, the one sported by the F-WTSB to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the first flight.
This Concorde 201 is retained by Aérospatiale and stored at Toulouse.

Hi all.

So far there has been 11 responses to the survey. it is located at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VTD97F2.

IF you have answered the survey already and would like F-WTSB to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the first flight ito be one of your "selects" please use the following link https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9RVYWG6. All others doing the survey just have to complete the main one.

Thanks

Bill

Why is Fedex listed as a livery choice in the survey? They weren't even in business at the time.

I like the Concorde. Hope a few different liveries will be released at the same time.
G-BOAA in delivery colours would be nice.

Federal Express: A cargo version of Concorde was proposed for FedEx but never built. A joint service to Shannon for packages was proposed with BA in the 80's.

Supersonic FedEx Model of the Concorde
Concorde: Tom had earlier in his career worked a concept team to utilize Concorde supersonic jets to fly packages internationally. One problem was that the emergency manual system for lowering the landing gear was amidship of the jet. The floor would have to be taken up, and pole inserted into a cranking type device to manually lower the gear. With freight on the aircraft this wasn't accessible to the pilots. The team came up with a gear concept that would allow the pilots to take up the floor and manually deploy the gear from the cockpit. A major issue was that to put a cargo door in the Concorde, 3 more bulkheads had to be installed. These jets were going to be leased for 10 years. A requirement by the French was that FedEx had to return the jets in original condition. We would have to remove the cargo door, remove the bulkheads, and relocate the emergency gear extension system back amidships.

Both are the first version SAMPLE and there are errors that need to be fixed until the release of the final product, we will keep everyone updated!
Is that C-130 3D printed? or has the tooling been made?
If its only been 3D printed, don't make the tooling. I think the opening side door looks awful.

I am not a fan of fantasies, however that said, I would purchase this very livery of one if it is ever made of a Qantas Concorde for historical purposes, as Qantas placed order for four options in May 1966 then canceled all 4 options. All airliners that placed orders for Concorde should be made - You got to love history! A noisy & fuel gussling beast as was this beautiful aircraft, sales were cancelled everywhere left right an center as Boeing introduced the world the Boeing 747 another option and more capacity. Timing was everything ! Boeing won that battle

Answer to Eurojet, just my opinion :

Very easy to put in place, very easy to remove for another configuration.
And even for a heavy model (A 380), very stable.

Just as a heads up, it looks like those who wanted a kick at desired Concorde liveries have had their say. I will leave the survey up until Jan 31 and post the results here likely on Feb 2. For those who haven't done it, it can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VTD97F2

I am guessing so that it can be put on the stand in flying mode and the wheels can be removed for display. Just my take on it, I could be wrong.

Registration F-BTSC was the one used on the Airport Concorde 79 movie. The same livery as the movie would be nice.

Question for Marcus: When approximately will the first Concorde release see daylight?

Question for the rest - what Herc model/livery do you want to see? https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MRF83QG
