Thai 777 with front landing gear issues
 

Noticed today that the landing gear on our Thai 777 (Gemini) seems rather weird.

Do they offer replacements for it?

First of all, you have the gear in backwards, but yes, replacement gears are supposed to be available sometime soon according to Nikki at GJ.

The nose gear on your model is the uncompressed strut type. A ground configuration (compressed oleo strut) version is supposed to be available from GJ. JCW has already offered replacement gear for its models with this type of nose gear..

The place I bought from does not have replacement gears and anyways, would prefer to get directly from the Source :)

I've asked Gemini for replacement gear for the Emirates 777-300 A6-EGP which has this same issue.....Gemini sent me the same gear. When I asked again they said that is all they have.

Gemini is supposed to be getting the correct compressed gear in stock, but they don't have them yet. Nikki is supposed to send me one when they have them, but that was several months ago and I'm not really optimistic at this point.

Interesting... didnt realise this came with the wrong gear, was actually thinking of purchasing the thai 773 from a seller on ebay... im not sure yet :)

I also asked from the place i bought mine. They said that theres no stock and they only ever ordered the glue-on version.wow i didnt even know that spare part even existed.haha.
But yeah, the model is still a beauty

Spare parts don't come with models to shops. If they ask suppliers, they should get them for you.
