Something is missing
In their own ways, the planes shown on these photos were pioneers, they were the first in their categories.
Obviously, one is missing : the B 707-120, preferably, the first generation with short fin, no ventral fin and of course, early engines PW JT3Cs …a true -120, not a -120 B which was a -120 modified to the point was it looked like a B 720 B …
Meanwhile, I am ready to welcome an accurate B 707-320, a step in the right direction.
Maybe next year ?
Rui, with the help of you Aladdin lamp, anything on the horizon ?
It is worth recalling their first flights.
Comet 1 27.07.49
Caravelle 27.05.55
TU 104 17.06.55
B 707-120 20.12.57
DC 8-10 30.05.58
CV 880 27.01.59
CV 990 24.01.61
