Count me in for a decent 720-mould! Somehow I always liked the B720 in Ethipian Airlines livery. Remember them being parked in the BA maintenance-area at LHR all day before departure to Addis Abeba in the late afternoon.

And of course we also need a Lufthansa 720!!! There are two possible liveries...

A 720/720B would be an exciting addition for us retro collectors. Not knowing how the molds are constructed, I wonder how feasible it would be to make a combo 720/707-120 mold with an "insert" for the 707-120 length. The number of classic liveries on this combo is mind-boggling! Such an iconic aircraft. Imagine this mold with an accurate appearance, without some of the quirks of the IF200 mold. C'mon Andrew - you know you want to!

Little bit off topic, but is there any news on a new DC-8 after the Pan-Am?? (wich I missed...)

And pleeease - these would also make wonderful liveries on a 720-mould... You just have to adore those Ecuatoriana-birds!

You can take a 720B, change the fuselage, and get a 707-120B. But the original 707-120 has a unique wing (no glove).

The 707-120B would, however, require noticeably larger 707 main gear wheels.

I don't think anyone's ever noticed the 747-400 vs 747 classic wheel size difference, at least not in the sense of "models should show this difference, if truly accurate". I doubt 707 vs 720 wheels would be noticed either.

If you look at the 720 vs 707-120 wheels, there is a marked difference. Same for the DC10-10 and -30. Really noticeable.
